10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis clarifies the basis for Vietnam-China cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative." Specifically, it outlines the origin and development of the "Belt and Road Initiative," highlighting the achievements of cooperation in building the "Belt and Road Initiative" between China and its partner countries over the past six years. The thesis identifies the endogenous and exogenous factors influencing the formation of Vietnam-China cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative." In particular, the thesis clearly points out major regional and international trends, especially the trend of strategic competition driven by the United States, evident in the Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) strategy; and also identifies the favorable and challenging factors in Vietnam-China relations that impact Vietnam-China cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative."

This thesis has contributed to clarifying the current state of Vietnam-China cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative" on key areas such as policy connectivity, trade connectivity, infrastructure connectivity, financial and monetary connectivity, people-to-people connectivity (the Five Connectivity Initiatives), and maritime cooperation. This part of the thesis has highlighted different perspectives from both Vietnam and China regarding the current state of Vietnam-China cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative." Clearly, bilateral cooperation is relatively comprehensive, particularly due to strong impetus from China. It is noteworthy that China considers virtually all new or newly promoted agreements, agreements, programs, and cooperation projects (in contrast to existing initiatives, agreements, programs, and cooperation projects prior to 2013—the year China launched the "Belt and Road Initiative") related to the "Five Connectivitys" (policy connectivity, trade connectivity, infrastructure connectivity, financial and monetary connectivity, and people-to-people connectivity) as "Belt and Road" cooperation.

The thesis also comprehensively assessed the results of Vietnam-China cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative" by highlighting achievements and limitations; forecasting the prospects for Vietnam-China cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative" in the future; and offering recommendations on groups of solutions for Vietnam in the process of implementing "Belt and Road" cooperation with China in the future.

11. Practical applications: Vietnamese Party and State agencies, research institutions, and universities can refer to the content of this thesis to gain a broader perspective on Vietnam-China cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative" in the current period.

12. Future research directions: I will continue to conduct in-depth research on China's "Belt and Road Initiative" and Vietnam-China cooperation within the framework of the "Belt and Road Initiative" in the future, and propose countermeasures for Vietnam.

13. Published works related to the thesis: None.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

The thesis clarifies the basis for forming Vietnam - China cooperation within the framework of the “One Belt, One Road” (OBOR) initiative. It generalizesthe establishment and development of OBOR, showing the fruits of cooperation on building OBOR between China and other partner countries during the last 6 years. The thesis also points out endogenous and exogenous factors that have impacts on the formation of Vietnam - China cooperation under the framework of OBOR. Particularly, the thesis clearly illustrates the major trends in the region and the world, especially the trend of strategic competition promoted by the US, reflected in the Free and Open Indo-Pacific (FOIP) strategy. At the same time, it also points out the favorable conditions as well as challenges in Vietnam - China relations that affect Vietnam - China cooperation under the framework of the OBOR initiative.

The thesis contributes to clarify the current situation of Vietnam - China cooperation under the framework of OBOR on the main contents such as policy coordination, facilities connectivity, unimpeded trade, financial integration, and people-to-people bond(five ties) and cooperation on the sea. This part of the thesis points out different perspectives on both Vietnam and China side about the current situation of Vietnam - China cooperation under the framework of the OBOR initiative. Clearly, bilateral cooperation is relatively comprehensive, especially due to the strong push from China. Noticeably, China considers almost all new or newly promoted agreements, agreements, programs, projects (after 2013-the time China launched the OBOR initiative), which are related to “five ties”, asOBOR cooperation.

The thesis also comprehensively assesses the results of Vietnam - China cooperation under the OBOR initiative, pointing out achievements and limitations, forecasting Vietnam-China cooperation prospects under the framework of the OBOR initiative in the coming time, making recommendations about solutions for Vietnam in the process of implementing OBOR cooperation with China in the future.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

The Party, the State, research agencies and universities of Vietnam can refer to the content of the thesis to have furthur perspective on Vietnam-China cooperation under the framework of OBOR in the current period.

13. Further research directions, if any:

I will continue to research in depth the OBOR initiative of China as well as Vietnam-China cooperation under the OBOR initiative in the coming time tomake recommendations about solutions for Vietnam.

14. Thesis-related publications: None.
