10. Summary of the thesis results:

- Based on the results of field surveys, this thesis describes the current state of illiteracy and relapse into illiteracy in Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien province. The description of illiteracy and relapse into illiteracy is divided by residential area, gender, age, and ethnic group.

- Based on the descriptive results, the thesis provides preliminary observations on the state of illiteracy and relapse into illiteracy in Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien province. At the same time, the thesis attempts to identify the causes of illiteracy and relapse into illiteracy in the area and proposes measures to overcome illiteracy and prevent relapse into illiteracy in Dien Bien Phu city in particular, and Dien Bien province as well as in the mountainous ethnic regions of Vietnam in general.

11. Practical applications:

- Based on the realistic picture of illiteracy and relapse into illiteracy in Dien Bien Phu city in particular and Dien Bien province in general, we develop educational measures for language education activities in ethnic minority areas.

- Contribute additional data (in the areas of illiteracy and re-illiteracy) to the development of a workforce training plan in Dien Bien province.

- From the results described, the thesis has taken a preliminary remarks about illiteracy and re-illiteracy in Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien province. At the same time, the thesis also tries pointing out the causes of illiteracy and re-illiteracy in the province and proposed solutions to enhance illiteracy and re-illiteracy in Dien Bien Phu city, Dien Bien province in particular and the mountainous areas in Vietnam in general.
