10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis provides an overview of the current South China Sea sovereignty dispute from the perspective of the impact of actors inside and outside the region on geopolitics in the South China Sea, as well as the involvement policies of various countries in this dispute.

The thesis clearly states the immense value of the South China Sea, leading to disputes between countries in this region. It also analyzes the legal standing of the parties involved in this dispute, thereby highlighting the legitimacy of Vietnam's efforts to protect its sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Given the complexity of the dispute, with the direct involvement of many countries, the roles of ASEAN and China are considered crucial in resolving the dispute. However, the increasing presence of world powers such as the US, Japan, and India in the region is also bringing the South China Sea dispute to an unpredictable scenario.

Forecasts indicate that tensions in the South China Sea are likely to escalate in the coming years, leading to the need for countries to take practical, legally binding steps to resolve the dispute. Vietnam, as one of the disputing countries, also needs to be united, vigilant, and proactive in protecting its maritime sovereignty.

Thesis overview present of the South China Sea territorial disputes perspective the impact of internal and external stakeholders to regional geopolitics in the South China Sea and the policies of the countries involved in this dispute.

 

Thesis highlights the tremendous value of the South China Sea that is the reason why of disputes between several countries, and then shows the legal analysis of the parties to this dispute which highlights the legitimacy of Vietnam in protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity.

 

With the complexity of the dispute with the direct participation of many countries now, so the role of ASEAN and China is considered extremely important in resolving disputes. However, some power nations such as T he United States, Japan, India more and more are attending in South China Sea dispute also bringing to the unpredictable scenario.

Forecast disputes in South China Sea tend to be complexly in the next few years, so leading to all national need some practical steps with legal binding to resolve legal disputes. Vietnam is one of the claimants also need solidarity, sensitive and proactive in securing maritime sovereignty.
