10. Summary of thesis results:

The issue of employment after graduation is always a concern for students of many science majors in general and students of sociology in particular. Through investigation, we have come up with the following results:

The first:The rate of students from the Faculty of Sociology - University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi who have jobs after graduation is 100%, with up to half of the survey sample finding jobs immediately after graduation.

Nearly half (48.5%) of respondents also found a job that was very suitable and relevant to their major.

Relatively stable income, 55.0% of graduates find jobs with salaries from 3 to under 6 million per month.

The number of graduates who found jobs that they considered very stable and stable accounted for 67.5%.

Monday:The survey shows that currently employed graduates are distributed in many different economic sectors, but mainly work in the state sector, followed by the private sector and joint stock companies.

Tuesday:The gap between the trained profession and the actual job requirements is the importance and ability to meet the soft skills required by employers.

Wednesday:Factors affecting students' job opportunities after graduation are mainly sources of information and support, mostly from parents and family members.

The importance of awareness and equipping specialized job skills, additional skills as well as basic and advanced soft skills

Working part-time also has certain effects on students' job search process after graduation.

Thursday:The solution to improve the quality of job search for graduates lies first in evaluating the training program to be close to job requirements and the reasonable distribution between theory and practice.

Besides, the quality of the faculty's lecturers needs to be more innovative in teaching methods, need to be more lively and attractive as well as regularly survey the opinions of learners to know their assessments and comments and at the same time grasp the requirements and demands of students in the process of conveying knowledge content.

Finally, on the employer side, they receive a lot of attention in the opinions of graduates. Employers need to follow the reality more closely in combining right from the training construction work in schools to regularly creating conditions for practice, internships to the issue of commitment to recruiting students after graduation.

11. Practical applicability: The research results in the topic give us an insight into the current employment situation of sociology students after graduation. On that basis, we have made recommendations to help the faculty and school make appropriate assessments and adjustments to the curriculum and teaching methods to raise awareness of necessary, basic skills, as well as soft skills for students to help them best meet the requirements of employers when applying for jobs. In addition, we also mention the role of employers with the aim of creating a close connection between training units and recruiting units, creating harmony and unity between supply and demand in the issue of training as well as employment of students after graduation.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Employment after graduation is always students' concern in many science majors in general and in particular sociology, by investigation, we present some of the results are as follows:

The first:Percentage of students in Sociology Faculty - University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi branch having job was 100%, with half of the sample found jobs immediately after graduation.

There are also nearly half (48.5%) of respondents found suitable jobs and expert training.

They have relatively stable income, 55.0% of graduated students found job which had paid from 3 to under 6 million per month.

The number of graduated students found jobs according to their assessment is very stable and accounted for 67.5% stable

The second:Survey shows students after graduation having jobs are distributed in many different economic areas but still mainly in government sector, then the private companies and joint stock companies.

The third:The gap between expertise training and the actual requirements of the job is the importance and ability to meet the soft skills as required by the employer.

The fourth:These factors impact the chances of looking for job after students' graduation are mainly from supported information. Most of them are supported from parents and relatives in their family.

The importance of cognitive skills and equip group of specialized skills, group of additional skills as well as basic and advanced team soft skills.

Part-time job also impacts certain effects to the process of looking for a job after students' graduation.

The end:Solutions to improve the quality of the job search for students after graduation, firstly evaluating training programs should be closed to the requirements of the job and the reasonable allocation between theory and practice.

Secondly, the quality of the faculty instructors need further innovation in teaching methods, to be more vivid, more attractive, as well as regular surveys of students' opinion for the evaluation, recognition and understanding of the requirements and demands of the students in the process of transferred knowledge.

Finally, the employer received a lot of attention which was the choice of the students who have graduated. Employers need to look more realistic at combination from training theory to practice, and from practice to recruit students after graduation.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

From the results of the studied subject show us a real insight into the status of employment of students after graduation in sociology today. On that basis, we make recommendations to help faculty and university have assessments and reasonable adjustments to the training program, teaching methods to raise awareness of the necessary skills, basic, as well as soft skills to students to help students who can meet the requirements of employers most when applying for job. In addition we also mention to the role of the employers for the purpose of creating combination between training providers and recruitment agencies, creating harmony, unity between demand and supply in questions of training and employment of students after graduation.
