Based on an analysis of the overall context of the European migration crisis, including Türkiye's important geostrategic position, the EU-Türkiye relationship before the crisis, the situation of the European migration crisis in different phases (2011-2015, 2015-2016), the causes and impacts of the crisis on the EU and Turkey, the thesis identifies the fundamental factors that form an overall picture of the migration crisis in Europe. From there, the thesis clarifies the characteristics of EU-Turkey relations through the policies of both sides regarding immigrants, and the changes at the Union and national levels of these policies. Through this, it compares the similarities and differences in the approaches to migration by the EU and Turkey. The thesis also presents prospects for EU-Türkiye relations by assessing Türkiye's relationship with several countries such as the US and Russia. The thesis examines the views of several EU member states on the civil war in Türkiye and the opportunities for Türkiye's accession to the EU. Finally, it offers some predictions for future bilateral relations between the EU and Türkiye, both positive and negative.

Several studies and articles have been written about the migration crisis in Europe and the EU-Türkiye relationship, but very few have delved deeply into the European immigration crisis, focusing on the "peak" period of 2015-2016 and how its resolution relates specifically and systematically to the relationship between the EU and Turkey. This thesis synthesizes and logically organizes the facts to clarify the context of the European immigration crisis, the relationship between the EU and Turkey in resolving the crisis, and the prospects for both sides in the future. The research results are of profound theoretical and practical significance.

11. Practical applications.

This thesis has identified the characteristics of the European migration crisis, including its causes, effects, impact on both the EU and Türkiye, the policies of the parties involved in the crisis, and the crucial role of Turkey in resolving it. From the perspective of European historians, the thesis contributes to providing a scientific basis for evaluating and defining the relationship between the EU and Turkey, which has been marked by deep-seated conflicts throughout history. Furthermore, the thesis provides a scientific basis for comparing migration issues between Europe and Southeast Asia in general, and with Vietnam in particular. From this, policy researchers can determine the priorities and directions in Vietnam's migration policy.

12. Future research directions

In the coming period, the immigration crisis in Europe will continue to evolve in a complex manner, despite numerous measures implemented by EU member states to stem the flow of migrants and refugees into Europe. The prospects for EU-Turkey relations are considered crucial to resolving this serious crisis. Therefore, research on the EU-Turkey relationship in addressing the European immigration crisis holds a unique and highly relevant position.
