Thereby, the differences and similarities in the way the EU and Turkey solve the migration problem are compared. The thesis also provides prospects for the EU-Türkiye relationship through assessing the relationship between Türkiye and a number of countries such as the US, Russia; The views of some EU member states on the civil war in Türkiye, the opportunity for Türkiye to join the EU. Finally, the thesis gives some forecasts for bilateral relations between the EU and Türkiye in the coming time in both positive and negative aspects.

In addition, the thesis also provides scientific bases for comparing the migration issue between Europe and Southeast Asia in general, as well as with Vietnam in particular. From there, policy researchers can determine policies and priorities in policies towards migrants in Vietnam.

12. Further research directions

In the coming time, the immigration crisis in Europe will continue to develop complicatedly despite the fact that EU member states have taken many measures to prevent the flow of migrants and refugees into Europe.
