The thesis outlines the theoretical basis and current status of reading culture of Vietnamese youth in the early 20th century.21st century in print; present characteristics of print media, print language, print media reflects issueshot social issue about reading culture of young people, concept of culture, reading culture, reading culture ofyoung people. At the same time, evaluate the quantity, quality, and form of writing articles reflecting and developingdevelop and contribute to raising awareness of cultural reading skills among young people.
The thesis clarifies the strengths and limitations of printed press works on reading culture.young people. The thesis expresses the fundamental argument, the fact and figure of the reading culture among the Vietnamese youth at the beginning of the 21ststcentury. It also displays the main features of the printing press, the language used in this kind of press. Printing press is considered to convey the latest social news relating reading culture, how the youth behave in general and how they like reading in particular. This thesis evaluates not only the quantity, the quality but also how articles are created to improve the youth's reading habit.
This thesis indicates the weak and strong points of articles relating to the youth's reading culture. From surveys conducted after reading articles printed on Tuoitre Ho Chi Minh City, ThanhNien, TienPhong newspapers, the thesis writer recommends some solutions and some useful forms for how to write articles involving the youth's reading culture.
