- To systematically review Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic thought in foreign relations activities;

- Based on a general understanding of the present era, this study proposes several recommendations regarding perspectives and directions in foreign policy and people-to-people diplomacy, in accordance with Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic thought.

- Reviewing the successes achieved by applying Ho Chi Minh's diplomatic thought and style during the Party's reform period, people-to-people diplomacy has contributed to enhancing the effectiveness of people-to-people diplomacy amidst the unpredictable changes in current international relations. This also aligns with Party diplomacy and State diplomacy in the cause of national construction, development, and defense.

The research findings of this thesis provide readers with useful, historical, and up-to-date information about people-to-people diplomacy and information about specialized agencies involved in people-to-people diplomacy, which is still largely unfamiliar to many.

12. Future research directions:

People-to-people diplomacy has played and continues to play an indispensable role in Vietnam's overall foreign policy. Therefore, forecasting the trends and outcomes of people-to-people diplomacy in the new context will be an important next research direction for this topic.
