- Through surveys on the lives, creative careers and artistic concepts of the two writers Nam Cao and Lu Xun, the thesis has shown that the concept of literature for human life is the meeting point of the two writers. Based on this similar starting point, both authors sought the paradoxical character type as a suitable form of artistic expression to express their literary views in their short stories.
