After more than 30 years of renovation initiated and led by the Communist Party of Vietnam, ethnic minority areas in our country have had many positive changes in all areas of social life. However, the implementation of equality among ethnic groups still has certain limitations such as: the difference in development level between ethnic groups, ethnic regions, especially between ethnic minorities and the majority (Kinh), between mountainous and lowland areas, highland and lowland areas; the life of ethnic minorities faces many difficulties... Therefore, in the current period, organizing the good implementation of ethnic equality policies, gradually overcoming the above limitations is extremely important.
