The thesis focuses on research and gives some basic results as follows:

In chapter 1 - overview of the topic "local radio news", the author focused on clarifying some concepts of "radio", "news bulletin", "radio news bulletin" and "local radio news bulletin". In addition, the author also analyzed the position and role of news bulletin for radio in the context of information competition. In addition, the author also reviewed and set out specific requirements for local radio news bulletins such as: requirements on content, presentation form, host, program structure, duration, broadcast time, etc.

In chapter two, the thesis examines and analyzes the content and presentation methods of news broadcast on radio and television stations in Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, and Lang Son from October 2014 to April 2015. By studying the contents of the news, combining with synthesizing the assessments and comments of listeners, reporters, news editors and leaders of survey stations, etc., the author has made specific and objective assessments and comments on the diversity of information in the content such as the production situation in various fields, the progress of construction of key projects, support for business development and emerging issues that people are very interested in such as land issues, people's lives in industrial parks, quality of education, health care, etc. In terms of form, the news has used a variety of journalistic genres such as news, reports, interviews. In this chapter, the author also draws out the successes that the news has achieved such as information with high public opinion orientation, closely following the political tasks of the locality, elements of music and sound. These have created value for the news.

Through surveying news bulletins, analyzing actual data from production units, and in-depth interviews with insiders, many existing problems and limitations are also presented in the thesis. From there, the author boldly proposes a number of solutions to improve the quality of news bulletins and radio news programs of local radio and television stations such as human resources, technical and material means, innovation in content and form of expression, and network of collaborators.

With this topic, the thesis has an important meaning in contributing to supplementing and developing the theoretical system of the current local radio news genre. In particular, by delving into an issue of "local radio news", in a certain aspect, the topic will have initial contributions in statistics, evaluation, comments and analysis in terms of content and form of expression. This will contribute to creating a basis for further research on the issue of news on local stations.

In Chapter one, Overview of the subject "Newsletter of the local radio", the author focuses on clarifying some of the concepts of 'radio', "news reports", "radio news reports" and "news reports local radio."
