Second, the thesis compared and contrasted 8 sets of synonyms from three perspectives: lexical meaning, grammatical meaning and pragmatic meaning, including 4 sets of Vietnamese synonyms and 4 sets of Chinese synonyms.
Third, the thesis has pointed out the reasons for Chinese students' mistakes in the process of learning Vietnamese synonyms, and also proposed methods of teaching Vietnamese synonyms to Chinese students.
