This also served as a foundation for the later development of travel writing in the first half of the 20th century, pioneered by Phạm Quỳnh with "Ten Days in Huế" and other travel writings.

To this day, travel writing may pause but never abandon its journey, nor is it forced to stop at any point by other genres. As long as humanity has the desire to move, to change spaces, and to change itself, travel writing will continue.
