The thesis is based on a survey of the history of concepts and different approaches to the concept of the rule of law state, analyzing the philosophical approach to the concept of the rule of law state, pointing out the essential signs and some regular issues in building the rule of law state.

Based on those philosophical perceptions, the thesis proposes a number of recommendations and solutions for the process of building a socialist rule of law state in Vietnam today.

The thesis can be used as a reference for students and postgraduates interested in and researching the issue of the rule of law state, especially the process of building a rule of law state in Vietnam today on the basis of applying theories from the philosophical approach to the rule of law state.
