10. Summary of the thesis results:
Ecotourism is currently a newly developing type of tourism, playing an important role in environmental protection and ecosystem conservation both domestically and globally. In Vietnam in general and Da Nang in particular, this type of tourism, although still relatively new, has great potential.
Da Nang, located in central Vietnam, is not only known as Vietnam's "most livable city" but is also famous for its picturesque landscapes, especially Ba Na Hills, often referred to as "Da Lat in the heart of Central Vietnam". With its favorable topography, climate, and incredibly rich and diverse flora and fauna, the Ba Na – Nui Chua Nature Reserve is considered to have great potential for developing ecotourism and resort tourism.
Topic "Developing Community-Participated Ecotourism in the Ba Na - Nui Chua Nature Reserve" focuses on systematizing the theoretical foundations of community-based ecotourism. Based on this, the study assesses the current state of ecotourism development in the Ba Na - Nui Chua Nature Reserve, highlighting its strengths and weaknesses; the participation and potential of the local communities in tourism businesses in Hoa Ninh and Hoa Phu communes. Through this, it proposes solutions and recommendations for building a model of community-participated ecotourism in the Ba Na - Nui Chua Nature Reserve.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
Nowadays, Eco-tourism is a developing type of new tourism and it plays an important role in protecting environment and preserving ecosystem in Vietnam and in the world as well. In Vietnam in general, and in DaNang city in particular, this type is quite new but promising.
DaNang city is located in central of Vietnamese; not only was dubbed the "liveable city" of Vietnam, which is also famous for charming beauty, especially with BaNa mountain is like “DaLat of the Central''. With the advantage of terrain, climate, abundant flora and fauna; BaNa – Nui Chua Natural Protected Area is judged as one of those which has a lot of potentials for ecotourism and resort development.
The thesis “Developing community - based ecotourism at BaNa – Nui Chua Natural Protected Area” focuses on re-systemizing theoretical basis on community – based ecotourism. Based on that basis, the thesis judges the reality of ecotourism development of BaNa – Nui Chua Natural Protected Area. It also summarizes the strong points and limited points and gives solutions and recommendations in order to orient development for this type of community – based ecotourism at BaNa – Nui Chua Natural Protected Area.
The thesis, to some extents, has had theoretical and practical contributions to the tourism development in general and ecotourism of DaNang city in particular, especially community_based ecotourism at BaNa – Nui Chua Natural Protected Area.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
The thesis is the useful reference for enterprises in the field of ecotourism and organizations which have the demand to have ecotourism activities, especially for local government and management board of Ba Na – Nui Chua Natural Protected Area for raising income, profits directly go to the community, raising awareness in protecting natural environment and preserving ecosystem of BaNa – Nui Chua Natural Protected Area.
