This thesis introduces the rationale and practical values ​​of communication in event planning in general and art events planning in particular. It also demonstrates the basic procedures of event planning and the effectiveness of communication activities through the inspection of three (03) major art events held in Vietnam in 2012 (also of three major art principals: graphics design, photography and sculpture). This thesis shows the status quo of communication activities in art; and evaluates - quantitatively and qualitatively - the various forms of communication employed in art events, specifically in graphics design, photography and sculpture; the pros and cons of communication methods employed in the respective types of art events; and ultimately gives recommendations to improve the effectiveness of communication in event planning and art event planning.
