10. Summary of thesis results:

The thesis outlines the theoretical and practical basis of the activities and roles of media in organizing events in general and cultural and artistic events in particular; presents the basic process for organizing events and the effectiveness of communication activities through a survey of three creative and outstanding art events in 2012 in the press, namely Graphic Art, Photography and Sculpture. The thesis presents the current status of communication activities on art events in Vietnam, evaluates the quantity, quality and form of communication activities on art events, specifically Photography, Graphic Art and Sculpture. In addition,,The thesis clarifies the effectiveness, evaluates the strengths and limitations of communication activities about that art event. From the survey, recommendations and solutions are given to improve the quality of communication activities in event organization in general and art event organization in particular.

This thesis introduces the rationale and practical values ​​of communication in event planning in general and art events planning in particular. It also demonstrates the basic procedures of event planning and the effectiveness of communication activities through the inspection of three (03) major art events held in Vietnam in 2012 (also of three major art principals: graphics design, photography and sculpture). This thesis shows the status quo of communication activities in art; and evaluates - quantitatively and qualitatively - the various forms of communication employed in art events, specifically in graphics design, photography and sculpture; the pros and cons of communication methods employed in the respective types of art events; and ultimately gives recommendations to improve the effectiveness of communication in event planning and art event planning.
