11. Summary of thesis results:
The main objective of the thesis is to apply the benefits of QR code technology to library operations so that readers can access all library services quickly and conveniently. The research problem is that QR code technology is very convenient, has been applied by many university libraries in the world and has brought high efficiency, so why have not many university libraries in Vietnam applied it in practice and what are the causes of the problem and solutions?
To solve the research problem, the author has proposed the following two research questions: (1) What is the current status of QR code technology application at Thang Long University Library?, (2) What factors affect the ability to apply QR code technology to Thang Long University Library?. To answer this question, the author has used research methods such as: Document collection, analysis, and synthesis method; questionnaire survey method; interview method and finally correlation analysis method.
The main results of the thesis include: Systematizing the theory and practice of code application in libraries; surveying and evaluating the current status of library services at Thang Long University Library before and after applying QR codes; identifying the main factors affecting the application of QR codes in libraries. Proposing solutions to improve the application of QR codes at Thang Long University Library.
