10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis presents the psychological methods and therapies used to provide psychological intervention for a child with a communication disorder. It analyzes and synthesizes the theoretical basis applied in the evaluation and analysis of the clinical case. It also documents the entire process and the results achieved during the psychological intervention.
The results of the thesis are presented in the following two parts:
The theoretical framework section provides an overview of communication disorders and concepts related to communication problems and communication disorders in children. It covers diagnostic criteria for communication disorders, and the methods, therapies, and techniques used to assess and diagnose the problems requiring support.
The section on evaluating and implementing psychological intervention for the clinical case presents information about the case. Case analyses are based on psychological theories. Results are obtained through clinical observation and psychological tests. The diagnosis and goals of the psychological intervention for the case are also included. The thesis specifically documents the content of the therapeutic activities and the results achieved after the psychological therapy process for the clinical case.
The positive outcomes of this thesis are evident throughout the treatment process: The client experienced positive psychological changes in their studies, communication, and daily life. The client learned and implemented several tools to help their body relax when experiencing negative emotions. The client learned how to practice to improve their speech impediment. The client learned how to resolve problems when communicating with friends and others, building better communication relationships than before receiving psychological support.
11. Practical applications:
Currently, an increasing number of children and adolescents are experiencing difficulties with communication and expressive language, leading to negative emotions and impacting their learning, friendships, and daily lives. Therefore, the issues addressed in this thesis—psychological intervention for a child with a communication disorder—have high applicability to cases of children experiencing psychological distress due to difficulties with expressive language and communication, negative behavior, and other communication disorders.

Therefore, the issues mentioned in the thesis: psychological intervention for a child with communication disorder has high applicability to cases where children are psychologically affected when having difficulty in expressive language.
