7. Thesis title: Applying psychological therapy to cases of anxiety symptoms in adults.
8. Specialization: Clinical Psychology; Code: 8310401.02.
9. Scientific supervisor: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thu Huong.
10. Summary of the thesis results:
Through self-reported psychological tests, it can be seen that the client's GAD scale decreased from 19 points in session 3 and 6 points in session 12; the client's sleep quality scale also decreased from 13/21 points in session 3 to 8/21 points after session 12; and the anxiety rating scale decreased from 71/80 to 42/80 in session 12.
Based on the functional evaluation, it can be seen that:
Regarding the body: because the client has been able to sleep well, they are eating more than before.
Regarding relationships: according to the client's report, due to a lack of understanding and support from parents and aunts and uncles, the client sometimes uses hurtful words such as "weak," "sick," and "incompetent." The client has tried to share their feelings with others, but has not received much encouragement. In their relationship with colleagues, the client also wants to share their problems with their boss, but with the goal of reducing their workload, they have also gone on outings with colleagues and shared that they had a lot of fun.
Regarding mental health: the client has learned how to share and clearly name their emotions, and how to change negative thoughts by seeking evidence. When anxiety arises, they know how to use exercises to change their state, such as relaxation techniques like breathing exercises and muscle tension. However, these changes are only the first steps and require further reinforcement and practice.
11. Practical applications:
Through the case study, it can be seen that the initial goal of reducing anxiety symptoms, especially improving sleep quality, has been largely achieved as the client has begun to learn how to find evidence, control negative thoughts, and sleep better. The lack of connection with the client's family members is a difficulty and a weakness of this thesis. Furthermore, because the work was primarily online, it was challenging for the student to effectively convey knowledge; the client needed more willpower and perseverance. The follow-up after the intervention also showed that the client is proactively and diligently maintaining positive emotions, such as frequently sharing positive statuses on social media and helping friends.

Based on the evaluation of the function can be seen:
About the body: because the client has been able to sleep, eat more than before
Regarding relationships: according to reports from the client, because parents, aunts and uncles do not understand and support them, they often use words that hurt the client such as "weak", sick, incompetent. The client also tried to share with everyone about his feelings, but the encouragement was not much. In the relationship with colleagues, the client also wants to share with his boss about his problem, but with the purpose of reducing the amount of work, the client also has outings with workmates and colleagues. However, these changes are just the beginning and require more reinforcement and practice.
12. Practical applicability:
Through the course of the case, it can be seen that the first goal, which is to reduce anxiety symptoms, especially to improve sleep quality, is basically completed when the client first knows how to find evidence, Control negative thoughts and sleep better. Due to not being able to connect with the client's family members, this will be a difficulty as well as a weakness of the thesis, besides, because they mainly work online, it is also difficult for students to convey their knowledge.
