Psychological intervention for a case of a traumatized adolescent has brought about certain results. With the successful application of psychological therapies such as mindfulness and cognitive behavioral therapy, the patient has had positive changes in cognition, emotion and behavior.
In terms of perception, the client has positive thoughts about himself such as being strong, open, emotional, knowing how to protect himself, encouraging people, helping others. The client knows how to proactively make suggestions.personal desires and concern for loved ones.The client feels that life has safe spaces and that he is protected.
Emotionally, the client feels more confident about himself. The client feels happy in his relationships with the social worker, his grandmother, his friends, his teachers and his sisters in the martial arts and yoga classes. The client knows how to balance his emotions and has appropriate relaxation and entertainment activities to enhance positive emotions such as reading, chatting with loved ones and friends, listening to music, taking a walk, and focusing.
Behaviorally, the client takes the initiative to take care of himself, goes to bed and wakes up on time. The client attends class regularly. With the results obtained from the theoretical and practical research process on a clinical case, the thesis presented an overview of a clinical case related to the application of a combination of psychological therapies to intervene in a case of a minor with psychological trauma. From there, the effectiveness of applying and combining psychological therapies in intervening for people with psychological trauma was recognized. On that basis, experience was drawn, applying and combining psychological therapies in practicing psychological intervention for people with psychological trauma.
