The concept of a converged newsroom is no longer new, but transitioning from traditional to converged approaches is not something that can be achieved overnight for any media organization. True convergence requires strategy, investment, pilot implementation, and the selective application of existing global models to the realities of the Vietnamese media market. The story of convergence is a process of grasping development trends, daring to change, investing systematically, and continuously adjusting strategies to achieve effectiveness.

Research on the converged newsroom model in Vietnam reveals several specific and clear examples, such as VnEpress, Tuoi Tre, and Vietnamnet. However, Tuoi Tre stands out most clearly in its approach and implementation.

Through research and surveys, the researchers found that the current direction of Tuoi Tre newspaper is quite correct and has initially yielded positive results: both in terms of information quality and economic efficiency. The public sees that the output of Tuoi Tre's journalistic products is consistent, avoids duplication of information, and demonstrates positive information direction. The information in Tuoi Tre newspaper is selective, ensuring both timeliness and suitability to public tastes, without losing the humanistic values ​​of a leading Vietnamese newspaper.

With the development of a converged newsroom model, Tuoi Tre newspaper has initially achieved certain positive results: optimizing available resources, professionalizing newsroom management, strengthening the newspaper's reputation, and diversifying two-way interaction with the public. Although some limitations, difficulties, and internal challenges still exist, with the new policies and directions of the Tuoi Tre editorial board in the future, the converged newsroom model of Tuoi Tre will certainly be further perfected and developed.

Convergence newsroom is no longer a new concept, but the transition from traditional method to convergence consumes time of any news agency. Because for convergence in the proper sense, we need to have a strategy, make investment, have a pilot and selectively apply the existing models in the world into the real development of the Vietnamese newspaper market. Convergence is the process of catching up the trend of development, daring to change, investing in and adjusting strategies continuously to get the results.

When researching the model of convergence in Vietnam, there are some specific cases, such as VnEpress, Tuoi Tre, Vietnamnet, .... However, the most obvious implementation and method is in Tuoi Tre.

Through research and survey results, the researcher found that the current direction of Tuoi Tre Newspaper is quite right and initially effective, both in terms of information quality and economic efficiency. The public have seen that the output of Tuoi Tre's press products is consistent, not having overlapping information, and having positive information navigation. The information in Tuoi Tre Newspaper is selective to ensure that it is updated on a timely basis and suitable to the public's tastes and not losing the humanity of a leading newspaper in Vietnam.

From the development of a convergence model, the Tuoi Tre Newspaper has had initial successes: optimization of available resources, professional management of the newspaper, strengthening of prestige of the newspaper, diversification of two-way interaction with the public,... Although there have remained some limitations, difficulties and internal challenges, with the new direction and policy of the editorial board of the Tuoi Tre Newspaper in the coming time, we believe that the model of convergence newsroom of the Tuoi Tre Newspaper will be certainly improved and developed.

The results of this topic will contribute to the research and development of the convergence newsroom model in Vietnam. This can be considered as a reference for the teaching work for students and graduate students.
