- Luận văn góp phần làm rõ về cơ sở khoa học của hoạt động giáo dục Phật giáo và đào tạo tăng tài của Giáo hội Phật giáo Việt Nam thành phố Cần Thơ nói riêng và Giáo hội Phật giáo Việt Nam nói chung, bao gồm các quan điểm, nội dung, phương thức, biện pháp giáo dục và đào tạo (trong cơ sở tự viện, cơ sở giáo dục tập trung, thông qua các cuộc lễ lạc, khóa tu); công tác hướng dẫn, chỉ đạo, điều hành của Giáo hội, Ban chuyên môn, Ban Trị sự, trụ trì cơ sở tự viện, lãnh đạo cơ sở giáo dục; kết quả đạt được, đóng góp trong việc đào tạo nguồn nhân lực Phật giáo và khó khăn, hạn chế.
- Luận văn nêu ra những vấn đề tồn tại trong các hoạt động giáo dục Phật học, đào tạo tăng tài và nguồn nhân lực cho Phật giáo Cần Thơ (đáp ứng yêu cầu vừa nâng cao chất lượng, hiệu quả hoạt động giáo dục đào tạo vừa giữ gìn và phát huy bản sắc văn hoá của các dân tộc; nhiệm vụ giáo dục, đào tạo nguồn nhân lực chung cho Giáo hội Phật giáo các địa phương lân cận với đầu tư nguồn nhân lực và các điều kiện cho cơ sở giáo dục của Phật giáo Cần Thơ; yêu cầu đổi mới nội dung, phương thức giáo dục và đào tạo Phật giáo phù hợp với sự phát triển chung của xã hội và thời đại Cách mạng Công nghiệp 4.0; sự chưa hoàn thiện và đồng bộ nội dung, giáo trình, chương trình giáo dục Phật học các cấp; bất cập về chức năng, nhiệm vụ các Ban chuyên ngành).
Trên cơ sở đó, luận văn đề xuất một số giải pháp nhằm giải quyết các vấn đề bất cập, góp phần nâng cao chất lượng, hiệu lực, hiệu quả trong công tác giáo dục, đào tạo nguồn nhân lực Phật giáo như: thống nhất nội dung, chương trình; đầu tư, hỗ trợ kinh phí xây dựng, hoàn thiện cơ sở vật chất; đổi mới nội dung, phương thức, ứng dụng công nghệ thông tin; kiện toàn cơ sở giáo dục (thành lập trường Trung cấp mang tính liên kết vùng, thành lập Trường Sơ cấp Phật giáo Nam tông Khmer, xin chủ trương thay đổi chủ thể quản lý đối với Học viện Phật giáo Nam tông Khmer…); phân cấp, phân quyền cho Ban chuyên ngành; chú trọng việc tu học, kết hợp giữa giáo dục và thiền định; nâng cao trình độ đội ngũ giảng viên; tăng cường vai trò lãnh đạo, quản lý của các cấp Giáo hội; gắn với trách nhiệm của các cấp chính quyền, Tăng Ni, Phật tử.
11. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn:
        - Luận văn có thể sử dụng để làm tài liệu tham khảo phục vụ việc định hướng, xây dựng, phát triển mô hình giáo dục, đào tạo nguồn nhân lực của Phật giáo.
        - Luận văn đáp ứng nhu cầu giảng dạy, nghiên cứu, đào tạo trong giáo dục Phật giáo và góp phần phục vụ công tác quản lý, hướng dẫn, điều hành của Giáo hội Phật giáo Việt Nam từ Trung ương đến cơ sở và của cơ quan, tổ chức, đơn vị Nhà nước có chức năng liên quan.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
- The thesis contributes to clarifying the scientific foundation of Buddhist education and training activities to talent monks of the Vietnamese Buddhist Organization in Can Tho city in particular and the Central Vietnamese Buddhist Organization in general, including the standpoints, contents, methods and measures of education and training in monasteries, concentrated educational institutions, through ceremonies and retreats; guidances, directions and administrations of the Buddhist Organization, professional boards, executive administrative boards, chief abbots of monasteries, leaders of educational institutions; achieved results, contributions to the training of Buddhist human resources, as well as difficulties and limitations.
- The thesis points out the existing problems in Buddhist education activities and training of talent monks and human resources for Buddhism in Can Tho city that meeting requirements and improving quality and effectiveness of education and training activities while preserving and promoting the cultural identity of ethnic groups; the task of educating and training human resources for the Buddhist Organization in neighboring localities with investment in human resources and development conditions for educational institutions of Buddhist Education in Can Tho city; requirements for renovating content and methods of Buddhist education and training in line with the general development of society in the perspective of the Fourth Industrial Revolution`s era; incompleteness and lack of internal synchronized content, curriculum, educational programs of Buddhist studies at all level as well as inadequacies in functions and tasks of specialized committees.
- On that basis, the thesis proposes some solutions to solve the inadequacies and contribute to improving the quality, effectiveness and efficiency in the Buddhist education and training of human resources such as: unified contents and programs; to invest in and support the construction as well as completion of material facilities; to innovate information technology, methods and applications; to consolidate educational institutions such as: establishing a regional-linked- based on Intermediate School, establishing a Khmer Theravada Buddhist Primary School and applying for a policy to change the management entity for the Khmer Theravada Buddhist Academy, etc.; decentralization and delegation of authority to specialized committees; focus on studying and combining education with meditation; upgrade the qualifications of the teaching staffs; to empower the leadership and management role of the Buddhist Organization at all levels that associated with the responsibilities of the authorities, monks and nuns and lay-Buddhists.
11. The posibility of practical application:
- The thesis can be used as a value reference to serve the orientation, construction and development of the model of Buddhist educational and human resource training.
- The thesis meets the needs of teaching, research and training in Buddhist education and contributes to the management, guidance and administration of the Vietnam Buddhist Organization from the central grade to local levels of the Vietnamese Buddhist Sangha,  state agencies, organizations and units with relevant functions.
12. Further research directions: to research about the status of education and practices of Khmer Theravada Buddhism compared with other Buddhist sects in Can Tho city.
