Luận văn tập trung nghiên cứu và đưa ra một số kết quả  cơ bản như sau:

Trong chương 1- Quốc hội, Kỳ họp Quốc hội. Báo chí và vai trò của báo chí trong thông tin thời luận về kỳ họp của Quốc hội, tác giả tập trung giải quyết một số lý luận chung về vai trò của báo chí, báo điện tử trong công tác thông tin các kỳ họp Quốc hội. Trong đó, tập trung nghiên cứu làm rõ các khái niệm về “Quốc hội”, “Kỳ họp Quốc hội”, “báo chí”, “báo điện tử”, “thông tin thời luận”... Từ những đặc trưng, đặc điểm cũng như hoạt động của báo điện tử, tác giả chỉ ra vai trò của báo chí nói chung, báo điện tử nói riêng trong công tác thông tin tại kỳ họp Quốc hội.

Trong chương 2, chương “Thực trạng thông tin thời luận của các báo Nhân Dân điện tử, VnExpress và Tuoitre Online về kỳ họp thứ 8 Quốc hội khóa XIII”, luận văn đi sâu khảo sát, phân tích và đánh giá thực trạng thông tin của các báo điện tử về kỳ họp thứ 8 Quốc hội khóa XIII, nguyên nhân của những thành công và hạn chế.

Từ đó làm cơ sở đề ra những khuyến nghị khoa học ở chương 3.

Chương 3, chương “Một số khuyến nghị khoa học nhằm nâng cao chất lượng thông tin thời luận trên báo chí về các kỳ họp của Quốc hội”, tác giả đưa ra một số khuyến nghị khoa học đối với các báo nhằm nâng cao chất lượng thông tin thời luận về kỳ họp QH, khuyến nghị với VPQH để có sự phối hợp, tạo điều kiện cho các báo và phóng viên nghị trường hoạt động tốt hơn trong lĩnh vực thông tin.

11. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn:

Đây là công trình đầu tiên nghiên cứu về vấn đề thông tin thời luận tại một kỳ họp Quốc hội nói chung, kỳ họp thứ 8 Quốc hội khóa XIII nói riêng, cho nên đề tài sẽ có ích cho đối tượng lãnh đạo, quản lý báo chí hiểu hơn về vai trò, vị trí, thực trạng của hệ thống báo chí trong công tác thông tin, tuyên truyền. Thái độ của công chúng đối với các thông tin được đăng tải. Từ đó, chúng ta sẽ có những chính sách phù hợp nhằm lãnh đạo, quản lý hiệu quả hơn.

Những kết quả nghiên cứu xuất phát từ lý luận và thực tiễn của luận văn sẽ có tác động đối với các cơ quan báo điện tử và nhất là các nhà báo trong việc hoạt động, tác nghiệp, viết tin bài tại các kỳ họp Quốc hội để làm sao thu hút được công chúng.

Luận văn đã mạnh dạn đề xuất một số giải pháp tích cực cho các tờ báo điện tử để thực hiện tốt hơn vai trò, nhiệm vụ của mình tại các kỳ họp Quốc hội sau này; tăng cường tính tương tác với độc giả qua các phương tiện, thiết bị, ứng dụng hiện đại của báo báo điện tử; cải thiện nội dung của các tin, bài để đem lại hiệu quả thông tin tốt hơn.

12. Những hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo:

Nếu có điều kiện, từ luận văn này cũng có thể gợi mở ra nhiều hướng nghiên cứu sâu hơn về hoạt động của báo điện tử, phóng viên tại các kỳ họp Quốc hội: Ví dụ như về hình thức, thể loại báo chỉ thể hiện, tăng cường kết hợp đa phương tiện ….

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis: 

The thesis focuses on research and some basic findings are as follows:

In chapter one - The National Assembly, National Assembly plenary sessions, newspapers and the role of the press in reasoning information on the National Assembly plenary sessions, the author concentrates on dealing with some general theories of the role played by electronic newspapers in National Assembly plenary sessions. In which emphasis is placed upon studying and interpreting the concepts of “electronic newspaper”, “National Assembly”, “reasoning information”. From the typical features, characteristics as well as activities of electronic newspapers, the author highlights the role on electronic newspapers in giving information about National Assembly plenary sessions.

In chapter two, the actual state of reasoning information of Nhan Dan online newspaper, VnExpress and Tuoitre Online on the Eighth Plenary Session of the Eighth National Assembly, the thesis deeply explores, analyses and assesses the actual activities of electronic newspapers in giving information about the Eighth Plenary Session of the Eighth National Assembly through articles on this plenary session in the three newspapers: Nhan Dan Online, Vnexpress.net and Tuoitre Online between October and December 2014.

By analyzing in detail each article in respects of content and form, the author makes specific and objective judgments and assessments of: using pictures and drawings, charts or diagrams in articles, the various genres of newspapers in use, length of writing, reader feedback, in combination with multimedia…

In this chapter, the author also makes successes as well as limitations in speech and information activities at the Eighth Plenary Session of the Eighth National Assembly. From that to make the news, article  about this area more and more objective, interesting for the public and draw the public’s attention to the relevant issues at the National Assembly plenary sessions, the decisions that have influence on the existence and perishment, freedom and development of the nation in general and of individuals in particular.

By exploring the content and form of information, articles, reader feedback, and dealing with some limitations also, the thesis ventures to propose several scientific solutions in order to improve the quality of information activities at the National Assembly plenary sessions in general and at the eighth plenary session of the Eighth National Assembly in particular in chapter 3 - Proposing several solutions in order to improve the efficient information of electronic newspapers at plenary sessions of the National Assembly, such as solutions related to the human factor, means, material and technical facilities; the factor of innovating content and form of expression…

11. Practical applicability:  

This is the first work of research into the issue of reasoning information at the National Assembly plenary sessions in general and at the eighth plenary session of the Eighth National Assembly in particular. The subject therefore shall be beneficial to the leaders, managers of newspapers to have a more thorough grasp of the role, position, actual state of the system of newspapers in activities of information and propaganda, public attitudes towards the information published, from that to have proper policies to make leadership, management more effective.

The research findings based on the theories and practice of the thesis will have influence on the electronic newspapers and particularly reporters in their activities, operations, writing news, articles at the National Assembly plenary sessions so as to attract the public.

The thesis ventures to propose several positive solutions for electronic newspapers to better perform their role and missions at the subsequent National Assembly plenary sessions; to increase the interactions with readers through their up-to-date means, equipment; to improve the content of news, articles to produce better information performance.

If conditions permit, from this thesis, further researches may be suggested on the activities of electronic newspapers, reporters at National Assembly plenary sessions: for example, about the form, genre of newspapers presenting, strengthening the combination with multimedia…
