10. Summary of the thesis results:

The research topic has studied and clarified three main points: an overview of Russia's Asia-Pacific policy from 2000 to the present; the adjustment of Russia's Asia-Pacific policy from 2000 to the present; and the achievements and some limitations of Russia's strategic implementation in the Asia-Pacific region.

As the "successor state to the Soviet Union" on the international stage, the Russian Federation inherited much of the Soviet Union's economic, military, scientific, technological, and highly skilled human resources, as well as its international political influence. Combined with special natural advantages, the Russian Federation possesses all the qualities necessary for the strength and status of a world power in the post-Cold War era.

Since Putin came to power in 2000, Russia's future has looked promising, with its status as a great power attracting global attention with its balanced East-West foreign policy strategy, exemplified by the Russian Federation's strategy in the Asia-Pacific region.

Many experts and scholars believe that the 21st century will be the golden age of the Asia-Pacific region. Driven by its vital national interests, the Russian Federation has paid particular attention to the dynamic development of the Asia-Pacific region, strengthening strategic partnerships with a number of countries in the region, and adjusting its strategy to adopt a new approach that is not only based on a balance of power but also takes into account the interests of the major powers in the region.

The chapters of this thesis mainly address Russia's values and interests in the Asia-Pacific region, clarifying Russia's goals and strategies. This provides an important basis for formulating the current foreign policy of the Party and State of Vietnam, aiming to balance relations with major powers, eliminate unfavorable factors, and maximize favorable opportunities in partnerships with major powers in general and with Russia in particular, serving the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country and enhancing Vietnam's position in the international arena.

Essentially, Russia's policy in the Asia-Pacific region is not new, but the results of this study have provided a clearer, deeper, and more up-to-date understanding of Russia's practical steps toward this region.

11. Practical applications:

The entire research findings of this thesis are immediately applicable in practice, systematically assessing Russia's strategic adjustments in the Asia-Pacific region, thereby proposing appropriate policies for Vietnam in its relations with major powers in general and with Russia in particular. The reason: the research results of this thesis are built upon, developed, and synthesized from several existing studies that have been appropriately applied to our current foreign policy.

12. Future research directions:

Firstly, Russia is not the only country with a policy and strategy towards the Asia-Pacific region; many other countries share a similar orientation. This thesis has not had the opportunity to delve deeply into the strategies of other countries in this region. Secondly, Russia and Vietnam have a comprehensive strategic partnership, so a deeper study of Russia's strategy in the Asia-Pacific region is needed to further promote and strengthen Vietnam-Russia relations in the future.

Therefore, further, more in-depth research on these topics is needed.

Thesis researched 3 contents: The thesis has studied and clarified 3 main points: An overview on the Asia-Pacific policy of the Russian Federation from 2000 to present; The adjustment of the Russia's Asia - Pacific policy from 2000 to present; Achievements and some limitations of the deployment of Russia's strategy in Asia - Pacific.

As "the Soviet Union's successor" in the international arena, Russia inherited most of the Soviet Union's economic, military, scientific, technical potential and human resources, as well as international political influence, combined with the special favorable natural conditions, the Russian Federation has the right stuff to make its own strength and position of a post-Cold War Power.

Since Putin came into power in 2000, Russia's future has been lightened with a promised position of a Power. The state attracts all the attentions of the world by its balanced East - West foreign strategy, especially the Asia - Pacific strategy.

Many experts and scholars consider the 21stcentury as the "golden century" of the Asia - Pacific region. Derived from its important national interests, the Russian Federation attaches special importance to the dynamic development of the Asia - Pacific region, boosting strategic partnership with a mass of countries in the region, adjusting strategy to create a new approach not only based on power balancing, but also considering the interests of the major powers in the region.

The thesis of the chapter mainly refers to the values and interests of Russia in the Asia - Pacific region, highlighting Russia's goals and strategies, which are important basis for planning our Party and State's foreign policy in order to balance the relations with major countries, eliminate adverse factors, take full advantage of favorable opportunities in relations with major countries in general and the Russian in particular, contribute to the cause of industrialization and modernization of the country, raise Vietnam's position in the international arena.

Russia's policy in the Asia - Pacific region is not essentially new, but the results of this topic have pointed out deeper research and latest updates about the actual steps of Russia in the regions.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

All the results of the thesis have practical usefulness such as scientifically assessing Russia's strategic adjustment in the Asia - Pacific, in order to set out the appropriate policies for Vietnam in its relations with major countries in general and Russia in particular. The reason is that the results of the topic are inherited, developed and synthesized on the basis of some available research, which has been adapted for our current foreign policy. The research results of thesis have practical applicability right away.

13. Further research directions, if any:

Firstly, there are not only Russia having policies and strategies towards the Asia - Pacific region, but also many other countries have the same intention with Russia. The thesis doesn't have enough conditions to make deeper assessment on other countries's Asia - Pacific strategies. Secondly, Russia and Vietnam share the comprehensive strategic partnership, so it is necessary to study more deeply Russia's strategy in the Asia - Pacific region to contribute to promoting Vietnam - Russia relation in the future.

So it is needed to have the further researches on the above two contents.
