- The thesis has specifically pointed out the types of human loneliness in contemporary prose; the causes, conditions and manifestations of human loneliness in life.

- In addition, the thesis wants to contribute to identifying one of the important signs of innovation in contemporary Vietnamese prose through the artistic characteristics of writers such as: the art of constructing space, time, point of view, tone, language, etc.
