10. Summary of the thesis results:

Based on a survey of the current state of collaboration between the Institute for Regional Research and Development and local authorities in the implementation of research projects, this study analyzes and presents various forms of collaboration, identifying collaboration groups and models between the Institute for Regional Research and Development and local authorities. It also addresses issues to assess the positive or negative impact of research collaboration between the Institute and local authorities on both sides, thereby examining the achievements of both parties in the collaborative research process.

The study proposed several solutions for developing linkages between research institutes and local communities with the goal of helping farmers participate in production to improve production efficiency, and helping localities improve research results by strengthening links with domestic scientific research organizations such as research institutes.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Based on the survey of status of linkage between Institute of Regional Research and Development (IRRD) and localities in the process of implementing the projects. The Study has analyzed, presented the forms, groups and model of linkage betweeen IRRD and localities. Given the issues to assess the positive and negative impact from both sides on linkage thus absorb the results achieved by both sides in the process of collaborative research.

The study has proposed some solutions to develop linkage between research institutes and localities aimed to help farmers to improve production efficiency and help local partners improve results of their research activities through strengthening linkage with national scientific research institutions.
