Summary of the thesis results: Tho Tho and Gui Huong Cho Gio are the two most outstanding poetry collections of Xuan Dieu, clearly showing the poet's very own artistic style in the New Poetry movement. Studying the two poetry collections from the perspective of verses, we will understand the characteristics of Xuan Dieu's verses from the form to the language and rhythm. Xuan Dieu's verses are regular, with diverse and creative sentence patterns. The poet flexibly uses vocabulary, has many ways to combine words and create new meanings. Besides, the way of rhyming, combining sounds, and breaking rhythms shows extremely skillful art of harmony. Those things contribute to successfully expressing the "ego" full of identity; the passionate, earnest desire to live; sadness, loneliness, and anxiety about life.
