10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis focuses on researching and presenting the following basic results:

In Chapter 1, the author researched and compiled several concepts of critique, social critique, and journalistic social critique, presenting some personal opinions on the concept of critique, its scientific nature, and the characteristics of critique activities. This served as the basis for studying social critique, including journalistic social critique. The chapter updates the latest guiding principles of the Party on social critique and concretizes some content related to the organization and operation of journalistic social critique to highlight the unique characteristics of social critique by journalists and media organizations.

The press in Hai Phong city and its unique developments in social critique activities and organization will be presented in more detail through a survey of some critique activities regarding the decisions of the City Party Committee and the city government.

The author also clarifies that research on social critique in journalism, in line with the Party's new directives, is important and necessary both theoretically and practically. In surveying the city's media system, the author selected four major media outlets in Hai Phong that are widely accepted by readers due to their convenience in many aspects.

Chapter two is tasked with researching the current state of social criticism in Hai Phong Newspapers, Hai Phong Radio and Television Station, Hai Phong Security Newspaper, and the Hai Phong Seaport Magazine.

The author has synthesized, analyzed, and outlined the outstanding characteristics of each media outlet, their capacity to conduct social critique, and the effectiveness of their social critique activities in relation to the decisions of the City Party Committee and the city government. The author has delved into analyzing the current state of social critique in Hai Phong's press across various aspects: principles, objectives, and target audience; content and scope of critique; proactive critique; organization of critique; presentation and genre usage. The author also analyzes some of the reasons for the success and limitations of these newspapers in their social critique activities.

Chapter 3, drawing from the practical activities of Hai Phong's press, identifies several trends and proposes specific solutions and recommendations to contribute to promoting social critique activities in Hai Phong's press. Based on some limitations and shortcomings in the city's press's social critique, the thesis offers predictions and proposes solutions and recommendations for developing social critique in the area. First and foremost is the need for a unified concept, characteristics, and nature of critique, social critique, and journalistic social critique. Simultaneously, it proposes several solutions regarding mechanisms that, when implemented, will create more favorable conditions for the city's press to conduct social critique in depth and achieve greater effectiveness. These specific solutions and recommendations are appropriate to the situation of Hai Phong's press, aiming to provide city leaders and relevant agencies with a basis for improving the quality of social critique activities in the area.

11. Practical applications:

The research findings of this thesis provide a basis for understanding the role of social critique organizations in the press of Hai Phong city. It can directly support Hai Phong Newspaper, Hai Phong Radio and Television Station, Hai Phong Security Newspaper, and Cua Bien Magazine in gaining a comprehensive overview of their respective publications' critique activities; and in assessing their professional capacity to build upon achievements or address and overcome obstacles and limitations in their participation in social critique.

If circumstances permit, this thesis could also open up many avenues for further research on critical analysis, social criticism, social criticism in journalism, and especially social criticism by local media regarding major policy decisions of local Party committees and governments.

10. Summary of thesis's results:

The thesis is concentrated on research and shows some basic results as follows:

In chapter 1, the author has researched, gathered some concepts about the term of opponency, social opponency and social opponency of journalism, to state some personal opinions about opponency, scientific nature of opponency, feature of opponent activity, to use as basis to study about social opponency including social opponency of journalism. Updating the latest opinions upon social opponency of the Party and having concretization of some contents that related to organizational operations, social opponency of journalism in order to see specific characteristics of social opponency of journalists and press agencies.

Journalism of Hai Phong city and particular developments in operations and organizational methods of social opponency will be presented more specifically by surveying some opponent activities towards the decision-making of municipal party committee, municipal government.

The author also clarifies such research on social opponency of journalism according to new instructing spirit of the Party that it is important and necessary on both theoretical and practical aspects. During surveying period of municipal journalism system, the author has chosen four big press agencies in Haiphong city that are accepted by crowded readers because of its convenience in many aspects.

In chapter two, it is responsible to research social opponent reality of Hai Phong press, Hai Phong Television, Hai Phong Security Newspaper, Seagate Magazine.

The author has synthesized, analyzed and highlighted outstanding characters of each press agency, capability in performing social critical opponent activities as well as efficiency of social critical opponent activities of four press agencies to decide-making of the municipal party committee, municipal government. The Author has approached to an intensive analysis of social opponent reality of Hai Phong journalisam in all aspects: guideline, purpose and serving target; content, scope, initiative, organizing method, presenting method and using type of critical opponency; The author also analyzes some reasons that lead to success as well as limitation of the press in social critical opponent activities.

Chapter 3: from the actual activities of Hai Phong journalism, the author considers some trends and puts forward some specific solutions and suggestions in order to help to speed up social critical opponent activities of Hai Phong journalism. From some limitations, briefly about social opponency of municipal journalism, the thesis has given some forecast and suggestions for solution, recommendation to develop social opponency in the area, and firstly it is the necessity to unify on concept, characters, nature of opponency, social opponency and social opponency of journalism. At the same time, it is put forward some solutions on mechanism that create favorable conditions when being performed to help the municipal journalism reach the depth and prove high effectiveness. All such specific solutions and suggestions are in conformity with operating situation of Hai Phong journalism in order to help the municipal leaders and journalism related agencies to have more foundations o improve the quality of social critical opponent activities in the area.

11. Possibility of application in reality:

The research's result of thesis is awareness basis on the role of social opponent organization in Hai Phong journalism. It is possible to support directly to Hai Phong press, Hai Phong Television, Hai Phong Security Newspaper and Seagate Magazine.in order to have a comprehensive view on its own newspaper's opponency activity, to realize its career operating capability for proving achieved result or to adjust, overcome difficulties and limitations during the course of social opponent participation.

If it is possible, it will be opened also many directions of intensive research on opponency, social opponency, social opponency of journalism, especially the social opponency of local journalism for big decision-making of municipal party committee and local government.
