The thesis has clearly stated that the work of educating youth in general, and educating the sense of social responsibility for Vietnamese youth in particular, is both strategic and urgent. It is not only an immediate task, but also a great and long-term task for the future of the country. When solving this task, today's generation has many solid and valuable supports. One of them is the ideological legacy of President Ho Chi Minh to educate youth. Therefore, studying, researching and properly and creatively applying his thoughts on educating the sense of social responsibility for youth aims to serve and improve the quality and effectiveness of youth education to meet the requirements and tasks of our country's revolution in the new period.

Chapter 1 presents some theoretical issues on the social responsibility of youth according to Ho Chi Minh's concept.
