This thesis focuses on researching and presenting the following basic results:
Chapter 1 – an overview of the topic "Educational Television Programs for Ethnic Minorities at Bac Kan Provincial Radio and Television Station" – focuses on addressing some general theories about educational television programs and current issues related to educational work in ethnic minority areas. Specifically, the research clarifies the concepts of "television," "television program," "educational television program," and "television audience." It clarifies the Party and State's policies and guidelines regarding ethnic minorities and media for ethnic minorities. It also examines the characteristics of television and its role for ethnic minorities, and the socio-economic situation of Bac Kan province.
Chapter 2 of this thesis delves into surveying, analyzing, and evaluating the current state of Bac Kan Provincial Radio and Television Station, and the appearance of educational television programs at the station from 2012 to June 2014. Through surveying the number, duration, frequency, and broadcast times of educational television programs, examining the content, presentation style, and production process of these programs, combined with in-depth interviews with editors, reporters, and ethnic minority viewers, the author has provided specific and objective information on the current state of educational television programs for ethnic minorities at Bac Kan Provincial Radio and Television Station.
By synthesizing the issues accumulated during the survey, in Chapter 3, the author points out the successes and limitations of educational television programs for ethnic minorities and proposes solutions to improve the quality of educational television programs at Bac Kan Provincial Radio and Television Station. From there, the thesis highlights the role and importance of information content, methods of information transmission, and the role of consultants in the process of developing educational television programs for ethnic minority audiences...
Through program surveys, analysis of real-world data, and in-depth interviews with those involved, the thesis identifies many existing problems and limitations. Based on this, the thesis boldly proposes several solutions to improve the quality of educational television programs for ethnic minorities, including solutions related to program production organization, content, presentation style, guest speakers, and expert consultants.

In Chapter 1 – Overview of the subject “Science Education Television Series for Ethnic Minorities at Radio and Television Broadcasting Station of Bac Kan Province”, the author concentrates on dealing with several general theories of science education programs and issues related to science education in ethnic minority areas at present. In which emphasis is placed on elucidating such concepts as “television”, “television program”, “science education television program”, “television public”. In Chapter 2, the thesis deeply surveys, analyzes and assesses the actual status of Radio and Television Broadcasting Station of Bac Kan Province, the representation of science education programs at Radio and Television Broadcasting Station of Bac Kan Province from 2012 – June 2014. By surveying the quantity, length of time, frequency, broadcasting time of science education programs; studying the content and form of representation, procedures for making science education programs in combination with in-depth interviews with editors, reporters and audiences being ethnic minority people, the author provides particular and objective information on the actual status of science education programs for ethnic minorities at Radio and Television Broadcasting Station of Bac Kan Province

Through surveying programs, analyzing practical data and in-depth interviewing many 'insiders', numerous limitations, limitations were indicated, from that the thesis ventures to propose some solutions to improve the quality of science education television programs for ethnic areas, such as solutions related to program production arrangement, solutions to content, solutions to form of representation, solutions to invited guests, consult experts…
As to the author of the thesis, these are really significant studies that serve as bases, premise for implementing science education programs suitable for ethnic areas, thus helping better their lives.
11. Practical applicability:
With this subject, the thesis is of important significance in helping complement and develop the theoretical system of genres of science education television programs at present. By going deeply into one issue, namely “science education television programs for ethnic regions”, to some extent, the thesis will make certain opening contributions in summing up, assessing, analyzing from the angle of the content and form of presenting science education programs at provincial television broadcasting stations. This will help lay the grounds for conducting deeper studies of the issue of propagating, disseminating science education information of television newspapers.
The research findings generated from the theory and practice of the thesis will exert influence on the central and local newspaper agencies, television stations in considering, reviewing the effects of science education programs, so as to identify the great role of science education television towards ethnic areas at the present time…It is hoped that the thesis will also contribute to providing executors of science education programs with the skills needed and is another source of information for researchers, management bodies and those people who are interested in this issue.
