In chapter 1 - overview of the topic "Science and education television program for ethnic minorities at Bac Kan Radio and Television Station", the author focuses on solving some general theories about science and education television programs and issues of science and education work in ethnic minority areas today. In particular, the study focuses on clarifying the concepts of "television", "television program", "science and education television program", "television public", clarifying the policies of the Party and State towards ethnic minorities and the press for ethnic minorities. In chapter 2, the thesis delves into the survey, analysis and assessment of the current situation of Bac Kan Provincial Radio & Television Station, the appearance of science and education television programs at Bac Kan Provincial Radio & Television Station from 2012 to June 2014. Through the survey of the quantity, duration, frequency, and broadcasting time of science and education television programs, studying the content, form of expression, and production process of science and education television programs, combined with in-depth interviews with editors, reporters and audiences who are ethnic minorities, the author has provided specific and objective information on the current situation of science and education television programs for ethnic minorities at Bac Kan Provincial Radio & Television Station.
By synthesizing the issues accumulated during the survey, in chapter 3, the author pointed out the successes and limitations of the science and education television program for ethnic minorities and proposed solutions to improve the quality of the science and education television program at the Radio and Television Station of Bac Kan province. From there, the thesis pointed out the role and importance of information content, the way of transmitting information, the role of consultants in the process of building a science and education television program for the audience of ethnic minorities...
Through surveying the program, analyzing actual data and in-depth interviews with insiders, many existing problems and limitations were also raised in the thesis. From there, the thesis boldly proposed a number of solutions to improve the quality of educational television programs for ethnic minorities such as groups of solutions related to program production organization, groups of solutions on content, groups of solutions on presentation form, solutions for the issue of guests, consultants, etc.
For the author of the thesis, these are truly meaningful studies, creating the basis and premise for implementing scientific television programs suitable for ethnic minorities, contributing to bringing a better life for them.

With this topic, the thesis has an important meaning in contributing to supplementing and developing the theoretical system on the genre of current science and education television programs. From delving into the issue of "science and education television programs for ethnic minorities", in some aspects, the topic will have initial contributions in statistics, evaluation, comments and analysis in terms of content and form of expression of science and education television programs at provincial television stations. With this subject, the thesis is of important significance in helping complement and develop the theoretical system of genres of science education television programs at present. By going deeply into one issue, namely “science education television programs for ethnic regions”, to some extent, the thesis will make certain opening contributions in summing up, assessing, analyzing from the angle of the content and form of presenting science education programs at provincial television broadcasting stations.
