10. Summary of the results of the thesis:
Behavioral problems, including behavioral disorders in children, have long been of concern to society and are considered as warning signs of crime in adolescence and adulthood. Behavioral disorders have a great impact on the development of young individuals, and also affect the development of society. In society, if there are many children with behavioral disorders, it will affect social security, indirectly negatively impacting the overall development of society. Research on this issue aims to limit and prevent the causes of behavioral disorders, creating the best environment for the healthy development of children.
In this study, the author has provided an overview of the problem of behavioral disorders in adolescents. The author also focused on assessing and analyzing the psychological problems of a client with behavioral disorders. Therapeutic strategies for the client include: cognitive change, behavioral change, emotional regulation. Using therapeutic methods: cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), rational emotional behavioral therapy (REBT), behavioral techniques: behavioral rehearsal, modeling, emotional techniques, imagination techniques, cognitive techniques: therapy books, self-talk, problem solving, correcting misconceptions, thereby helping the client have appropriate behaviors, establishing good relationships between children and family members, between children and society.
11. Practical application:
The thesis is a process of assessing, diagnosing and intervening in a clinical case. The treatment plan is built to help the client have a stable psychological foundation, building some preventive skills in each difficult situation. The thesis's theory focuses on the topic of behavioral disorders in children, the research results will be the premise for the development of research on behavioral disorders of this age group in Vietnam in the future.
