Thereby, studying the issues of: state management of printed newspapers and supplements; information content of supplements; using the formal elements of the mockup (newspaper size, cufflinks, front page problems, specialized page system, etc.) From the current situation of printed newspaper mockups in Ho Chi Minh City, the thesis proposes proposals to improve the quality of printed newspaper mockups such as: innovating the formal elements of the mockup; investing in training and developing human resources; orienting information content; creating an open mechanism in state management of printed newspaper supplements... With the practical experience of those who have worked in design and layout, we have deeply analyzed and explained the formal elements of printed newspaper mockups that other documents have mentioned briefly. In the brief history of printed newspapers in Vietnam, we have tried to extract the timeline of the formation of supplements and the formal elements of mockups scattered in the documents and focused on the topic so that readers can clearly visualize this process. 11.
