On the afternoon of January 15, 2013, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Vice Rector - had a meeting and worked with the International Institute of Japanese Culture (Nichibunken) led by Professor Shirahata Yozaburo. At the meeting, the two sides discussed some ideas on coordinating activities such as workshops and seminars this year.

UniReport magazine of the University of Frankfurt (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt am Main), Federal Republic of Germany (issue 10/12/12) commented highly on the visit and work of Professor and Principal Nguyen Van Khanh, and at the same time expressed expectations for the prospects of cooperation and training between the two schools in the future.

On the afternoon of December 14, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities signed a cooperation agreement with the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation (Germany) on enhancing dialogue in the field of international relations and international cooperation. Specifically, the two sides will carry out activities in many fields of international relations, including: Capacity building activities at many levels; research and publication; Exchange programs; Organizing national and international conferences.

On December 13, 2012, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School had a meeting and worked with the delegation of Dong Hua University (Taiwan) led by Vice Principal Chia-Liang Cheng.

Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa - Vice Principal of the University - had a meeting and worked with the delegation of Guangxi Academy of Economics and Finance led by Professor, Dr. Hoang Hieu Hong - Vice Principal who visited and worked at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on December 7, 2012.

On December 11, 2012, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Vice Principal of the School - had a meeting and worked with Mr. Quach Phung Dieu - Head of Science Department, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office.

On the morning of December 6, 2012, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh, Vice Rector of the University had a meeting and worked with Professor Dr. Lori A. Forman from the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (Honolulu, Hawaii, USA). At the meeting, Professor Lori A. Forman expressed her desire to cooperate with agencies in Vietnam, including the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, to organize an international conference on security in the Central region.

On December 5, 2012, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh and representatives of the Faculty of Oriental Studies received Mr. Shoji Sato, representative of the Association for Bookkeeping Promotion in Vietnam (ABPV).

On the afternoon of November 5, 2012, at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector) received and worked with Mr. Richard Cowin, Political Counselor of the British Embassy.

On November 26, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and the Korean Cultural Heritage University signed a cooperation agreement, marking an important milestone in the cooperative relationship between the two schools.

During her visit and work in Vietnam, Ms. Janece Charette (Cabinet Secretary and Deputy Minister in charge of Intergovernmental Affairs of Canada) visited and talked with lecturers and students of the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on November 23, 2012.

On November 22, 2012, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School - had a meeting and worked with a delegation of officials from the Academy of Commerce of Yunnan University (China) led by Vice President Ha Phuc Toan.

The Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Daegu University (Korea) was signed on November 12, 2012.

At the invitation of Hawaii Pacific University (Hawaii, USA) and the World Historical Association, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the school - led a delegation including Dr. Hoang Anh Tuan, Vice Head of the Faculty of History, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dinh Le, Head of the Department of Vietnamese History and Dr. Tran Thuy Anh, Deputy Head of the Office of International Relations and Cooperation to visit and work in Hawaii (USA) from October 28 to November 2, 2012.

On October 3, 2012, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities signed an official cooperation document with the University of Commerce, Restaurant, Hotel and Tourism Services under the Budapest University of Economics (Republic of Hungary).
