10. Tóm tắt các kết quả của luận văn:  

- Bám sát trục nghiên cứu được đề tài định hướng, từ cơ sở lý luận báo chí học, Luận văn đã phân tích, tổng hợp, luận giải và xây dựng được cơ sở lý luận liên quan đến vấn đề nghiên cứu, đó là vấn đề người lao động nhập cư trên báo điện tử Việt Nam.

- Trên cơ sở những vấn đề lý luận đã xây dựng, Luận văn đã khảo sát, đánh giá thực trạng thông tin các tác phẩm báo chí về vấn đề người lao động nhập cư trên báo điện tử. Kết quả việc khảo sát ý kiến phản hồi của công chúng và phỏng vấn sâu các phóng viên, biên tập viên và các lãnh đạo cơ quan báo chí là căn cứ cho việc đề xuất, giải pháp.

- Từ cơ sở lý luận và cơ sở thực tiễn đã nghiên cứu, khảo sát, Luận văn đưa ra những đề xuất, kiến nghị cụ thể để phát huy thế mạnh và khắc phục hạn chế những tác phẩm về vấn đề người lao động nhập cư trên báo điện tử . Luận văn cũng đóng góp, bổ sung những góc tiếp cận mới, cách thức mới, phù hợp với xu thế phát triển xã hội hiện đại nhằm nâng cao chất lượng bài viết. Kết quả nghiên cứu cũng có đóng góp cho quá trình giảng dạy về lý luận báo chí truyền thông hiện nay.

11. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn:

Kết quả nghiên cứu có khả năng giúp đội ngũ phóng viên, biên tập viên báo điện tử nhìn rõ thực trạng nội dung các tác phẩm với vấn đề người lao động nhập cư. Có thể thành tài liệu tham khảo hữu ích cho những người quan tâm về vấn đề này, là tài liệu tham khảo hữu ích cho các phóng viên, các sinh viên báo chí, các nhà quản lý và các cơ sở đào tạo báo chí.

Từ kết quả nghiên cứu này, có thể triển khai những hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo trong việc nâng cao chất lượng báo điện tử với vấn đề người lao động nhập cư .

10. Summary of findings (of the thesis):

- Following the research aims of the thesis, basing upon the literature of journalism and communication studies, the author has synthesized, analyzed, and established a theoretical framework for the investigation of this topic, i.e., current issues related to Vietnamese migrant workers represented by national and local online newspapers.

- Drawing from the above framework, the author has conducted data collection of selected samples of Vietnamese online newspapers which reflected multi faces of migrant workers’ lives in the country. Moreover, other methods including survey with target audiences and in-depth interviews with professional journalists have been applied in the thesis to provide further answers to the research questions.

- The research results from literature data collection, survey, and interviews have been carefully considered in the thesis, from which appropriate solutions to the issues were recommended. Regarding its significances, the thesis contributes new perspectives, new approaches in accordance with the present trend of the development in Vietnam in general and in urban issues in particular. For its findings, discussion and suggestions related to the research topic, this thesis also contributes to the training and researching on journalism in Vietnam nowadays.  

11. Practical applicability:

The research findings are applicable to the production of online news stories related to the topic of migrant workers in Vietnam today. Precisely, Vietnamese reporters, editors and also journalism administrators may find helpful research findings and solutions in the thesis when it comes to the migrant workers’ issues. Last but not least, the thesis may become an useful reference in the field of management of urban and migration issues, and in the field of teaching journalism.

12. Further research directions: 

Basing upon this results, further research questions can be developed in terms of further investigation to the role of other media such as television, social media to the knowledge and perception of the society toward migrants and migrant workers in contemporary VietNam.
