10. Summary of project results:

Dissociative disorders are more likely to occur in the female and adolescent population than in the male adult population. In addition, factors considered as predisposing factors to dissociative disorders include psychological factors (developmental psychopathology, hypnosis receptivity, trauma) and social factors (insecure attachment - disordered attachment, adverse childhood experiences, traumatic loss events). The study was conducted to observe the effectiveness of psychological intervention for a female student with dissociative disorders. The study presents a 30-session psychological intervention process. Symptoms of dissociative disorders were assessed at the stages of the intervention and at the beginning and end of the intervention period. The results showed positive changes such as the elimination of dissociative episodes, increased self-esteem and independence in the client.

11. Practical application:

The results of the study have shown the effectiveness of combining psychoanalytic and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques in the psychological treatment of dissociative disorders. This is a concrete evidence for the possibility of applying the combination of psychoanalytic and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques in practice to intervene in individual psychology for clients with dissociative disorders.

12. Further research directions:

Future research may focus on the following studies: (1) the theoretical basis may be expanded on appropriate and/or effective treatment models for dissociative disorders to complement the planning and intervention process for dissociative disorders. (2) future research may expand on the causes of dissociative disorders such as personality traits and family structure.

11. Summary of the findings of the project:

Dissociative disorders are more likely to occur in females and adolescents compared to adult males. Factors considered to contribute to dissociative disorders include psychological factors (developmental psychopathology, increased susceptibility to hypnosis, trauma) and social factors (insecure attachment - disorganized attachment, adverse childhood experiences, traumatic loss events). The study was conducted to observe the effectiveness of psychological intervention for a female student experiencing dissociative disorder. The study presents the psychological intervention process that took place over 30 sessions. Symptoms of the dissociative disorder were assessed at various stages of the intervention process and at the beginning and end of the intervention phase. The results show positive changes such as the elimination of dissociative episodes, increased self-esteem, and enhanced independence in the client.

12. Practical applicability:

The research results have shown the effectiveness of combining psychoanalysis and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques in psychological treatment for cases with dissociative disorders. This is specific evidence that the combination of psychoanalysis and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques can be applied in practice to provide psychological intervention for clients with dissociative disorders.

13. Further research directions:

Future studies may focus on several areas of research as follows: (1) the theoretical basis can be further expanded on suitable and/or effective therapeutic models for dissociative disorders to support the process of developing plans and interventions for dissociative disorders. (2) subsequent studies may expand research on the causes of dissociative disorders, such as personality traits and family structure.
