The research results of the thesis indicate that the use of smartphones has impacts (negative, positive, peripheral) on the social interactions of high school students in rural areas. Thereby creating changes in this social interaction. From these findings, the thesis proposes a number of recommendations for schools as well as relevant departments to have solutions to limit the negative consequences of the process of using smartphones on high school students in the area.

From the findings, the thesis has proposed some recommendations to school as well as relevant departments for making solutions to reduce negative consequences of use of smartphones for high school students in study area.
