Firstly, the thesis systematizes the studies on anxiety and school problems; at the same time, it builds a theoretical basis to clarify the concepts of anxiety and anxiety manifestations originating from school problems, the concept of adolescents and psychological characteristics of age; cognitive behavioral therapy and main techniques used.
Second, the main content of the thesis focuses on reporting the assessment and intervention process for a case of anxiety symptoms originating from school problems based on cognitive behavioral therapy. The thesis uses therapeutic techniques to achieve the main goals in the intervention process: (1) Support, stabilize emotions and reduce anxiety symptoms; (2) Intervene in the client's cognition, emotions, and behavior; (3) Build close relationships, build a healthy schedule; (4) Prevent anxiety symptoms from returning.
