10. Summary of the thesis results:
Today, depressive disorders are considered one of the most common mental disorders in the world, affecting anyone of any age. In particular, the increasing rate of these disorders among adults poses challenges to the economy and social stability. This study presents an overview of depressive disorders in adults and uses a cognitive-behavioral approach to support clients. The research results show that clients experienced a reduction in some depressive symptoms, improved mood and energy, and enhanced self-esteem. Clients also developed healthier coping mechanisms for negative emotions.
11. Practical Applicability: Based on the results obtained through theoretical and practical research in clinical case intervention, the thesis has demonstrated the improvement process of clients through the Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy approach. On the one hand, it reinforces the value of this approach in improving the depressive state of clients; on the other hand, despite the limitations of the thesis, it provides young practitioners with lessons for more professional practice in the future.

Nowadays, depressive disorder is considered as one of the most common mental disorders in the world. It could happen to anyone and appear in any ages. Especially, the rate of this disorder among adults is increasing day by day, which causes a hard strike on the economics and the stability of the society. Within this research, the author demonstrates an immense load of literature review about the depressive disorder among adolescents. Furthermore, the author also uses cognitive behavioral approach to support the client's problem. The findings show that the client has decreased depressive symptoms, increased in mood and energy, and improved self-worth. The client built up coping strategies against negative emotions in a more efficient way.
12. Practical applicability:
Based on theoretical research and clinical application, the thesis has shown the improvement process of the client through the cognitive behavioral therapy. This, on one hand, reinforces the distinct value of the approach by reflecting on the improvement of depressive condition of the client. On the other hand, the thesis also has some limitations. They provide young therapist with crucial lessons, in order to get better at expertise and professionalism in the future.
