This thesis presents an overview of depressive disorders and evaluates and provides psychological intervention for a case with depressive symptoms. The thesis evaluated and intervened to achieve the following goals: (1) Reduce depressive symptoms, (2) Improve relationships, (3) Prevent relapse of depression. After 10 intervention sessions, the client experienced a significant reduction in depressive symptoms and an improvement in relationships.
11. Practical applications: The application of psychotherapy in the treatment of depression has proven effective. The thesis also presents the process of conducting a clinical case, evaluation, and planning therapeutic intervention.
