10. Summary of thesis results:
Through self-report psychological testing via the GAD scale, the client's assessment score decreased from 18 points (session 2) to 5 points (session 10).
Mental health aspect: Clients know how to name emotions, analyze negative automatic thoughts through evidence. Clients try to share emotions, change their communication style to be more positive, share their own views. Clients have a plan for self-development based on their strengths, have a plan to improve weaknesses based on the help of friends and relatives. At the same time, clients also learn how to cope and prevent anxiety attacks from appearing.
11. Practical application:
Through the clinical case, it can be seen that the goal of reducing anxiety symptoms, especially improving sleep quality, has been basically completed when the client applies the method of "sleep hygiene", providing evidence to refute irrational beliefs and negative thoughts. Due to the weak connection with the family, this is probably a point that still exists in the thesis. During the post-intervention follow-up, it can be seen that the client gradually becomes proactive and tries to maintain positive emotions and beliefs, making plans for himself through status lines on social networks and through feedback via text messages.
12. Further research directions:
During the clinical process, the client has made efforts to improve his/her own problems, but needs constant reinforcement and encouragement from surrounding relationships, especially close relationships such as family. Therefore, the next research direction needs to improve and create closer relationships with relatives. Students need to connect more with friends and especially the client's family.
