10. Summary of the thesis results:
This thesis clarifies the factors affecting the conservation and promotion of historical relics in Lao Cai province and the situation of conservation and promotion of these relics before 2000; presents and clarifies how the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee applied the Party and State's guidelines and policies in the conservation and promotion of local historical relics from 2000 to 2015; and from there, offers some observations on the advantages and limitations and draws some key experiences that are valuable for reference, contributing to promoting the conservation and promotion of relics by the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee in the new period.
11. Practical applications:
The thesis, upon successful defense, can be used as a teaching reference at the Provincial Political School and in secondary schools on local culture, tourism, and history; it can also be used for research and compilation of the history of the Lao Cai Provincial Party Committee, and for compiling materials for tour guides and interpreters.
12. Future research directions:
- The work of preserving and promoting the value of historical relics in conjunction with the development of tourism in Lao Cai province.
- Managing and utilizing historical relics to serve socio-economic development in Lao Cai province.
- Socialization efforts in the preservation, restoration, and enhancement of historical relics in Lao Cai province.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The thesis has clarified several key factors that influence the process of preserving and promoting historical sites in Lao Cai and how the preversation and promotion of these sites had been before 20000; presented how Lao Cai Community Party applies policies of the State and Community Party with preserving and promoting values of local historic sites from 2000 to 2015; thereby demonstrating advantages and disadvantages and referencial experience as well which contributes to improve the process of preverving and promoting the values of Lao Cai historic sites in new period.

Hopefully, the thesis will be utilized as a reference of culture, tourism and history in Political Universities, high schools in local areas, and research processes, become a contributing factor in composing history of Lao Cai Provincial Party, and a guide for tour guides.
