10. Summary of thesis results:

In theory: The thesis has clarified and systematized some basic concepts of domestic violence, domestic violence behavior, family counseling for husbands who commit violence. Based on these concepts, the thesis presents a system of personal psychological factors (cognition, emotions) leading to domestic violence behavior in husbands, as well as factors that help increase/reduce or stop domestic violence behavior.

Based on the combination of gender theories and counseling theories, the thesis has provided core points to help counselors effectively influence husbands who commit domestic violence.

In practice: The thesis describes the current situation of domestic violence by husbands in the research group. At the same time, the thesis also presents the current situation of counseling activities for husbands who commit domestic violence, describes the basic steps in the counseling process and points to note when counseling the family for the husband who commits violence, analyzes the factors affecting the effectiveness of the counseling process. On that basis, the thesis makes a number of recommendations for those who counsel violent husbands, family counselors at the community level and for social workers in the field of domestic violence.

11. Practical application:

The results of theoretical and practical research can be applied to support cases of abused women and girls staying at shelters organized by the Central Women's Union and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. At the same time, it can be applied to support the resolution of psychological difficulties encountered by abusive husbands.

Theoreticaly: The thesis clarifies and systematizes some basic concepts of domestic violence, domestic violence, family counseling for violent husbands. Based on these concepts, the thesis presents a system of individual psychological factors (cognitive, emotional) that lead to domestic violence in husbands, as well as factors that increase / decrease minimum or terminate violent acts of in the family.
