10. Summary of project results:
This study presents an overview of the burden of caring for patients with chronic diseases, including a review of key studies worldwide, particularly among caregivers of patients with schizophrenia. Fundamental issues regarding the burden of care, such as its concept, influencing factors, and various aspects, are addressed. Simultaneously, the study discusses assessment and support methods, including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and self-compassion-enhancing techniques, to help clients reduce their burden, increase acceptance, and improve their coping abilities in the future.
The results showed that the client experienced reduced fatigue symptoms, improved sleep and quality of life, increased acceptance, and consequently reduced self-criticism and self-isolation. Additionally, the client was able to apply mindfulness techniques to manage emotions, prevent the increasing burden of caregiving, and address other life challenges.
11. Practical applications:
Based on the results obtained through theoretical and practical research in psychological support, the project has contributed further evidence to the effectiveness of a mindfulness-based cognitive approach in providing psychological support to caregivers of patients with chronic diseases. In addition, the limitations of the project also provide new practitioners with valuable lessons to improve the effectiveness of their support in the future.
12. Future research directions:
Based on the results of this project, the author hopes to continue researching mindfulness and mindfulness-based cognitive therapies in the future and develop products that can be applied to improve mental health for the community.

The project presents an overview of the caregiver burdens for patients with chronic diseases, including a review of important studies around the world, especially in the group of caregivers of patients with schizotypal disorder and schizophrenia. Basic issues of caregiver burdens such as concepts, affecting factors, and aspects of burdens were mentioned. Additionally, the project also discussed assessment and support methods, including mindfulness-based cognitive therapy and self-compassion enhancement techniques, to support clients in reducing burdens, increasing acceptance and coping ability in the future.

Based on the research results in this project, in the coming time, the author hopes to continue to conduct in-depth research on mindfulness-based cognitive approaches in the future and to develop programs that can be applied to improve mental health in the Vietnamese community.
