This thesis clarifies the geosecurity and geoeconomic roles of Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam's international cooperation through the relationship between Vietnam and major powers in the area. The thesis also demonstrates that Vietnam's policies aimed at promoting international cooperation in Cam Ranh Bay are rational and strategic, while outlining the advantages and limitations of implementing these policies in Cam Ranh in the current context. Furthermore, based on a synthesis of difficulties, advantages, opportunities, and challenges, the thesis proposes several solutions to further enhance the role of Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam's international cooperation.

Finally, this thesis contributes to building documentation for international cooperation research in general and Cam Ranh research in particular in Vietnam, presenting a different, more comprehensive perspective on Cam Ranh Bay by emphasizing the geo-security and geo-economic roles of this famous deep-water bay.

The practical significance of this research lies in demonstrating the strategic importance of Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam's international cooperation, thereby proposing solutions for its most effective utilization. Through an analysis of Cam Ranh's strategic advantages, the particular interest of major powers, and the opportunities and challenges in promoting international cooperation there, the research can be applied to the development of strategies for Cam Ranh.

Given its location near hotspots in the South China Sea and East China Sea, studying the geosecurity and geoeconomic roles of Cam Ranh is crucial in finding solutions to maritime disputes. Furthermore, this thesis can serve as a valuable reference for research on international cooperation policies in general, as well as research on Vietnam's foreign policy and its policy of balancing major powers in particular.

The thesis clarifies the geo-political and geo – economic roles of Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam's international cooperation in prism of relations between Vietnam and great nations. The Thesis also proves Vietnam's policies on investment encouragement in Cam Ranh Bay is proper and strategic, at the same time, it delineates Vietnam's advantages and disadvantages in executing these policies in the present context. Besides, through an assessment of Cam Ranh's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats; the thesis suggests some solutions for further promotion of Cam Ranh's role in Vietnam's international cooperation.

Finally, the thesis partly contributes to data base for studies of international cooperation and Cam Ranh Bay in Vietnam by providing a different, more sufficient perspective to Cam Ranh Bay study with emphasizing on it's geo – political and geo – economic roles.

The practical significance of thesis study is to prove Cam Ranh Bay's strategic importance in Vietnam's international cooperation, then propose solutions which helps Vietnam take full advantage of Cam Ranh Bay. Through analysis of Camranh's strategic advantages, great powers' interest in the bay and Vietnam's advantages and difficulties in investment encouragement; the thesis can be applied in determination strategies helps make the best of using Cam Ranh Bay.

Thanks to its near location from “hot points” in East Sea and East China sea; study of Cam Ranh Bay's geo – political and geo – economic roles also significantly contributes to searching remedies for sea conflicts. Besides, the thesis can be used as a valuable reference for studies of international cooperation in general as well as studies of Vietnam's foreign policy and balancing policy in particular.
