10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis has studied the entire theory of organizing library and information activities in general and clarified the theory of organizing the activities of provincial-level public libraries in particular. Specifically, it has thoroughly researched the concept of organization and organization of library and information activities; studied the role of organizing library and information activities; the factors affecting the organization of library and information activities; and the criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of library activities. It also comprehensively studied the practical basis of organization of activities at the Lai Chau Provincial Library; and the role of information organization in the Lai Chau Provincial Library. In particular, the thesis has thoroughly and comprehensively researched and analyzed the current state of organization of activities at the Lai Chau Provincial Library in professional activities such as: activities related to developing the library's collection; document processing; organization of the collection and preservation; and the creation of library and information products and services of the Provincial Library. The current situation regarding factors affecting the operational efficiency of the Provincial Library assesses the effectiveness of the organization and operation of the Lai Chau Provincial Library based on criteria such as collection of materials, frequency of library use, and the level of satisfaction of staff and users.vRegarding local interest in libraries, the impact of the Provincial Library on socio-economic development, and participation in local activities and programs, this thesis examines the advantages, limitations, and causes of the organizational and operational work of the Lai Chau Provincial Library. Based on theoretical and practical research on the organizational and operational work of the Lai Chau Provincial Library, the thesis also proposes a system of solutions to improve the effectiveness of the Provincial Library's operations, such as: perfecting the library's acquisition policy; raising awareness and the role of the organization; improving the qualifications of staff; training information users; increasing investment in funding and facilities; developing the library's collection; enhancing the application of modern technology; improving the quality of products and services; promoting library marketing; and training information users.

11. Practical applications:

Based on the solutions proposed in this thesis, the Lai Chau Provincial Library in particular, and libraries in mountainous provinces in general, can apply them in practice to improve the efficiency of library operations and meet the information needs of users.

12. Future research directions:

Research on developing operational models for libraries and community book collections in economically disadvantaged areas.

The research focuses on policy mechanisms for library operations.

11. Summary of the thesis's results

The thesis has analyzed all theories of libraries' information operational organization in general and clarified the theories of the operational organization of public libraries in particular. For example, the thesis has profoundly analyzed the definition of operational organization and information-library operational organization; the importance of the information-library operational organization; factors which impact on the information-library operational organization; criteria to judge the effectiveness of libraries. The thesis has also analyzed comprehensively the practical basis of the information-library operational organization in Lai Chau Province; the importance of the information-library operational organization to the Library of Lai Chau Province. Especially, the thesis has analyzed and studied profoundly and comprehensively the actual situation of the information-library operational organization of the Library of Lai Chau in professional activities such as: the development of material sources; the processing of materials; the organization of storehouses and the preservation of material sources; the building of library information products and services for the Provincial Library; the actual situation of factors affecting the operational effectiveness of the Provincial Library and the assessment of the operational organization of Lai Chau Provincial Library based on the criteria of material sources, the use frequency of the library, the level of satisfaction of officials and users, the attention paid to the library by the local community, the impacts of the Library on the economic and social development and also the participation in local and activities along with comments on the weaknesses, the strengths and the causes regarding the operational organization of Lai Chau Provincial Library. Based on the study of the actual situation and the theories of the operational organization of Lai Chau Provincial Library, the thesis has put forward a set of solutions to the improvement of the Library's operational effectiveness such as the Provincial improvement of additional policies for the Library; raising the awareness and the importance of the operational organization; improving officials' professional skills and training the library's users; raising the investment in the Budget and Facilities; developing materials' sources in the library; enhancing the application of modern technologies; improve the quality of services and products; improving marketing activities for the library; improving marketing activities for the library; and train the library users.

12. Practical applicability, if any:

Based on the solutions that the thesis put forward, Lai Chau Provincial Library particularly and public libraries in the mountainous areas generally can apply into library's operation in order to improve the efficiency of organization and operation.

13. Further research directions, if any:

Develop an operating model for public libaries and bookcases in mountainous areas.

Look at the improvement of policies aimed at developing public library system in the northern mountainous areas.
