(i) Based on the systematization of theoretical studies on motivation and learning motivation, the thesis has developed the concept of English learning motivation of students at Binh Dinh College and criteria for evaluating students' English learning motivation through two aspects: (a) Awareness and (b) Active action.

(ii) By combining different methods, the thesis has shown the current state of English learning motivation; the motivations that constitute the English learning motivation system of students at Binh Dinh College.

(iii) The thesis has identified subjective and objective factors affecting students' motivation to learn English, with the impact of subjective factors on students' motivation to learn English being stronger than that of objective factors.

(iv) Propose some measures to motivate students at Binh Dinh College to learn English.

To provide a theoretical basis for research on English learning motivation, as well as directions for educating English learning motivation among students at Binh Dinh College.

(i) On the basis of systematization of theoretical studies on the motivation and learning motivation, the thesis has developed a concept of the learning English motivation of Binh Dinh college's students and criteria to assess the same through two aspects: (a) awareness and (b) positive action.

(ii). Through the combination of different methods, the thesis has shown a real situation of learning English motivation of students and other motivations which constitute a learning English motivation system of Binh Dinh college 's students.

(iii) The thesis has also indicated subjective and objective factors affecting the learning English motivation of Binh Dinh college's students in which the former has shown greater impact.
