10. Summary of the thesis results:

Establishing trade and investment relations between China and ASEAN is a requirement for the economic development of both sides. Both sides have strengthened cultural exchanges and social interactions, and maintained close political ties to support economic development. In recent years, bilateral relations have become closer, cooperation has broadened, trade and investment volume has increased rapidly, and bilateral relations are becoming increasingly important in international cooperation.

The prospects for cooperation between Southeast Asian countries and China offer vast potential. This thesis focuses on collecting and analyzing the history of the formation and development of trade and investment relations between China and ASEAN countries. The main focus is on analyzing the current state of bilateral trade and investment relations after the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, as well as the future prospects and trends for the development of bilateral trade and investment relations.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

The formation of investment and trade relations between China and ASEAN is the need of developing bilateral economic and relations. Both sides continuously strengthen cultural exchanges, social interaction as well as the political relations bocome increasingly close which will service economic construction.Over the past decades, bilateral relations have become increasingly close. The cooperation is becoming more and more extensive and thorough. The amount of investment and trade increased rapidly.

Bilateral relations play a more and more important role in the international Cooperation Organization. Looking to the future, China and ASEAN will have a huge investment space. This paper collected and analyzed the history and developing of Sino-ASEAN relations, selectively analyzed the present situation of China-ASEAN investment and trade relations as well as looked to the future of developing bilateral investment and trade relations.
