10. Summary of thesis results:
The topic has analyzed and systematized scientific concepts of drugs, some issues of drug prevention and control among youth, some social work theories and related social work knowledge to generalize drug prevention and control work for youth in Long Bien district. On that basis, the role of Social Work in participating in solutions to improve the effectiveness of drug prevention and control work for youth is affirmed.
Survey results show that drug addiction among youth in Long Bien district is on the rise and becoming more complicated, with drug addicts mainly concentrated in the age group of 16 to 30 years old.
Research on the current situation and solutions to prevent and combat drugs among youth in Long Bien district concluded: (1) Currently, drug abuse is still very complicated and serious in terms of scale, level, nature and subjects; (2) The number of drug addicts in Long Bien district is quite high compared to other districts in Hanoi city, in which young people account for 59.2% of the total number of addicts in the district; (3) Among the many causes of the above situation, there is a lack of synchronous solutions, from the City to the district and wards are confused in choosing effective solutions to repel drug abuse in general and drug addiction among youth in particular; (4) Long Bien district has implemented a number of solutions to prevent and combat drugs but they are not really effective, the solutions are still scattered, investment in resources is limited; coordination between agencies and units is not close, direction is not drastic and not synchronous; Staff working in the field of social evil prevention and control are still lacking and weak in capacity and knowledge of social work, especially lacking professional social staff participating in drug addiction prevention and control activities.
The thesis has recommended a number of groups of solutions to improve the effectiveness of drug addiction prevention and control for youth in Long Bien district as follows: (1) Strengthening the leadership of the Party Committee and the government. (2) Perfecting the organizational structure, improving the quality of the staff. (3) Strengthening propaganda and education for party members, youth and people. (4) Building and implementing well the regulations on coordination of activities between the government and organizations. (5) The fight against drug crimes and control of drug precursors. (6) Drug addiction treatment at centers, in the community and drug prevention in schools. (7) Drug rehabilitation and rehabilitation work. (8) Inspection and examination work. (9) Consolidating and continuing to replicate and develop good models in the community. (10) Social work solutions in drug prevention and control.

Proposing solutions to improve the quality and effectiveness of drug addiction prevention and control work for youth in Long Bien district and can be used for reference and application to improve the effectiveness of drug prevention and control work in general and drug prevention and control for youth in other districts of Hanoi city, as well as other localities nationwide.

10. Summary of the findings of the thesis:
The topic has been analyzed and codified the scientific concept of narcotics, a number of issues on the prevention of drug among youth, a number of social work theory and knowledge about social work related to thereby generalizing the prevention, drug abuse prevention for youth in Long Bien district. (4) Develop and implement regulations in coordination between the government and unions. (5) The fight drug crime prevention and control of drug precursors. (6) The drug detoxification center, the community and drug prevention in schools. (7) Work addiction recovery. (8) Inspection and examination. (9) To strengthen and continue expanding and developing the model or in the community. (10) The solution of social work in the prevention of drugs.

Proposed measures to improve the quality and effectiveness of prevention and drug addiction for youth and Long Bien district can use for reference, applications to improve the effectiveness of prevention drugs in general and drug prevention for youths in other districts of Hanoi, as well as other locations throughout the country.
Thesis can be used as references for staff working in prevention drugs for research staff, threatens to create and operate the practice of social work with a complex social groups is youth drug addiction.
