On April 12, 2013, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice Rector) received and worked with a delegation from Yunnan University of Economics and Finance (China) led by Professor Kim Quoc Hung - Secretary of the Party Committee of ASEAN Academy.

In early April, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Rector) had a working trip to Japan at the official invitation of Prof. Yojiro Ishii, Rector of the Graduate School of Comprehensive Cultural Studies, University of Tokyo.

On April 9, 2013, Associate Professor Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu (Vice Principal of the University) received Mr. Boonrong Pongstiensak - Ambassador of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand in Vietnam. Also receiving him were Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Head of the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Training Cooperation, Dr. Nguyen Quang Hung - Director of the Center for Religious Studies.

A delegation from Southwest University of Economics and Finance (Chengdu, China) led by Prof. Yang Dan - Vice Rector visited the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on April 6, 2013. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Duc Nghieu - Vice Rector of the University received and worked with the delegation.

On March 28, during his visit to Vietnam, the Minister of Science of Bavaria (Germany), Dr. Wolfgang Heubish, took the time to visit and work with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities. Accompanying the Minister were representatives of more than 10 universities from Bavaria.

On March 25, 2013, Associate Professor Dr. Pham Quang Minh - Vice Principal of the School - had a meeting and worked with Professor Inoue Tomokatsu - Faculty of Arts, Saitama University (Japan).

On March 19, 2013, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the School received and worked with the delegation of the French Graduate School of Practice led by Prof. Denis Pelletier who visited and discussed cooperation opportunities between the two schools in the future.

In order to strengthen and expand cooperation in training and scientific research with Taiwanese universities and at the invitation of the University of Politics, the University of Education and Dong Hwa University, Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Thi Minh Hoa (Vice Principal) visited and discussed cooperation with universities in Taiwan from February 26 to March 2, 2013. Prof. Takehiko YoShiMura - Director of the Institute of Ancient Studies, former Principal of the Graduate School, Meiji University (Japan) led a delegation of staff and lecturers from Meiji University to visit and discuss cooperation opportunities with the University of Social Sciences and Humanities on March 8, 2013. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Principal of the University and representatives of the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Political Science received and worked with the delegation.

On March 4, 2013, the school's Board of Directors received and worked with international partners from New Zealand and the United States.

On February 26, 2013, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh - Principal of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Kim - Vice Principal of the University and representatives of the Faculty of History, Department of Foreign Affairs and International Training Cooperation had a meeting and worked with Prof. Shiraishi Masaya - Faculty of Asia Pacific Studies, Waseda University, Japan.

This morning, February 21, 2013, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Principal) received comrade Kim Chang Il - Ambassador of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to Vietnam - who visited and worked at the School.

From January 13 to 16, 2013, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Principal of the School) had a working trip to the Kingdom of Thailand.

On January 18, 2013, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Khanh (Principal) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Quang Minh (Vice-Principal) had a meeting and worked with Prof. Michael North (Vice-Principal of Greifswald University - Federal Republic of Germany).

On the afternoon of January 14, 2013, Dr. Matthew Hibberd (Head of the Department of Film, Media and Journalism - Stirling University - Scotland), visited and worked with the Department of Journalism and Communication. The visit is within the framework of cooperation activities between the University of Social Sciences and Humanities and Stirling University, directly between the two departments of journalism and communication of the two schools.
