10. Summary of thesis results:

Amulets are the oldest and most ancient religious artifacts that still exist in our lives today. In the modern world, amulets exist but are not clearly visible on the surface of religious and belief activities, but they are a persistent underground stream that exists in many forms in the spiritual life of the Vietnamese people. This "sacred" artifact called "amulets" always contains within it the synthesis of many religious and belief elements. In the context of instability that always surrounds people, amulets are sought out and used as an invisible form of insurance from the gods, which has a particularly important meaning in the spiritual life of the Vietnamese people.

In this study, we attempt to understand the rich and diverse world of charms and how people use them in their religious lives.

However, amulets are not only religious artifacts but also commercial artifacts. In this study, we have tried to explore the “production process” and consumption of amulets in religious life, an area that has not received much attention from research, and at the same time explain the factors affecting the demand for amulets and the responses of amulet users in the current context.

Finally, amulets are sacred artifacts. They have effects on human behavior through their religious beliefs. Therefore, this study provides insights into people's beliefs and perceptions about the world and themselves through religious artifacts.

11. Practical application: (if any)

The thesis can be used as a reference document for students, graduate students and readers interested in this religious and belief artifact. At the same time, the thesis also provides a comprehensive view of religious and belief artifact, as a basis for building appropriate religious and belief policies.

12. Further research directions: (if any)

Continue to conduct in-depth research on this religious artifact, an area that has not received much attention in current cultural and religious research.

11. Summary of the findings of the thesis:

Amulet is a sort of religious artifact that appeared from a long history of human being and it still exists in our daily life today. However, the existence of amulet is not always visible on the surface of acts of religious belief. Rather, it is just like persistent underground, existing in many forms of spiritual life of Vietnamese people. These magic artifacts contain in them the combination of various religious and belief elements. Given the context of uncertainty surrounding man today, the question of concern in this thesis is how the amulets are produced and how important they play in the Vietnamese religious practices.

In order to answer that question, this research addresses a comprehensive and diverse picture of amulets in religious life of the Vietnamese people. It describes findings related to amulets, from production process to distribution and usage in religious life, an aspect which has received not much academic interest until now. At the same time, the study tries to give explanations with regards to the factors that affect demand for amulets as well as responses from the users in particular and society at large. Finally amulet itself as religious artifacts has certain implications on human behaviors and their religious practices and it is important to look into the human perception on the existence of supernatural forces and its relations with the world of human beings.
