10. Summary of the thesis results:

This thesis focuses on a case study of families with children undergoing drug rehabilitation in Phu Tho town, Phu Tho province. Within the scope of this research, I investigate and evaluate the families' perceptions of drug rehabilitation; their approaches to addressing the rehabilitation process; and the impact of these approaches on the rehabilitation outcomes.

The research results indicated that families' awareness of drug rehabilitation is uneven. The vast majority of families have limited understanding of drug rehabilitation and its methods. Families are still influenced by factors such as economic conditions and community opinions, affecting their perception of drug rehabilitation for their members. The reasons for this lack of understanding stem from families' lack of need for information, limited access to information, and ineffective communication methods. Furthermore, families maintain irrational beliefs, affecting decision-making and forming negative views of their members. The study also proposed two social work models for families with members undergoing drug rehabilitation: 1. Awareness-raising model; 2. Cognitive therapy model.

11. Practical applications:

This research reveals the understanding and psychology of families with children undergoing drug rehabilitation, and highlights the difficulties they face in helping their children overcome drug addiction. In practice, social work models can be applied to support families in drug rehabilitation for their children in particular, and to improve the effectiveness of drug rehabilitation models in families and communities in general.

Applications of the model in practice.
